Powerful earthquakes have shaken areas along the Pacific Ring of Fire over the past week, including several near Japan and two deadly quakes in Venezuela. Seismic activity is normal for the Ring of Fire, the world’s most seismically and volcanically active zone, according to the USGS.

Was Interstate 5 built on the island of California's "Le Mer Rouge"?
From the 16th to the 18th century the legends of the island of California has created the modern palaver, was it real?
I can venture to say yes. And we can use old, new maps and include real world NOAA corp cartographers in order to postulate such claims for which I am about to make
There was a medieval warming that was recorded between 900 and 1300 AD right before the island of California maps were produced. It is my perception that this led to a northern melt that turned rivers into bodies of water large enough to isolate land masses like California. The topography reveals it all. (Slide one and two)
California's landscape holds low land river over flows, that expands from central to southern California that could have , for a time been Le Mer Rouge. Later becoming salted lakes and now dry expanses that were ones called seas.(Slide 3)
