🇪🇸 Spain. This is the alarming moments after a man with a psychiatric disorder stabbed his mother at their Sitges home and then dived into the sea to evade arrest.
Maritime rescue teams threw him a lifebuoy and eventually brought him to land, where he was arrested and transferred to hospital.
His mother was taken to Hospital Sant Camil in Sant Pere de Ribes, where she is being treated for stab wounds. Her life is not in danger.

🇺🇸 Bouncer in San Diego (at Park 101 in Carlsbad, June 24) arrested after shooting a patron in the face at point blank range with his taser.
Carlsbad PD arrested 42-year-old David Marquez on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and assault with a stun gun.
The patron was evaluated by Carlsbad Fire Dept. and transported to a hospital. No public details yet on the extent/severity of injuries. Investigation ongoing; restaurant terminated the guard and security vendor.
