๐Ÿ›‘ Anthropic just dropped Claude Opus 5 โ€” and itโ€™s a total powerhouse.

It matches Fable 5 in performance at half the price, setting a new benchmark for coding and complex intellectual tasks.

Hereโ€™s what it can actually do:
๐Ÿ›‘ Self-built computer vision: Given an engineering drawing with no direct view, it built its own CV pipeline to extract geometry and recreate a 3D model in FreeCAD. Zero competing models solved this.
๐Ÿ›‘ Deep bug fixing: Identified a root-cause vulnerability in a major messaging app and fixed an edge case that human developers missed in their official patch.
๐Ÿ›‘ End-to-end engineering: Built a complete exchange data feed in a single session. When it couldn't find a live stream for testing, it created its own mock environment to verify the code.

๐ŸŽญA dog, a toy, and a court case: AI reworked a photo โ€” and it's completely legal

A story straight out of our niche: a photographer shoots underwater dog portraits (yes, thatโ€™s actually a thing). One of her shots โ€” a dog diving for a red toy โ€” was run through AI by a former partner, who turned it into a comic-style image and posted it on his website.

The photographer sued. And lost. The Supreme Court of Germany ruled that converting someone elseโ€™s photo into a cartoon image using AI does not constitute copyright infringement.

๐Ÿ’ฌThe logic: the law protects specific photographic choices โ€” framing, angle, lighting, and depth of field. But the idea of a "dog reaching for a toy underwater" itself? Not protected. Since the AI altered the composition and style, the original protected elements weren't technically copied.

We found a super cool AI tool for musicians โ€” Studio Moises

โžก๏ธItโ€™s an audio2audio stem generator โ€” just upload your instrumental track, and the AI generates the remaining parts (drums, bass, electric guitar, etc.).

In automatic mode, it sounds shockingly natural, like it was originally written that way. For complete control, you can also guide the generation using text prompts.

On top of that, it packs additional AI features like mastering, stem separation, and a lyric generator.

๐Ÿ“Ž Pricing: You can use it for free โ€” the free tier gives you almost as many credits as the paid plan.

Run up to 300 AI agents locally with just a single tool

Chinese developers have introduced Kimi Work โ€” a platform that can control your browser via WebBridge, autonomously opening pages, scrolling, clicking buttons, and entering text.

It also works with local files, executes Python code, schedules tasks, and remembers user preferences alongside long-term context.

Google rushes to pull the plug on Google Earthโ€™s new AI image tool less than 24 hours after launch

๐Ÿ›‘ The feature allowed users to zoom in anywhere on the map and generate a satellite-style photo from a text prompt.
Predictably, the internet had other plans โ€” users immediately started generating fake plane crashes, bombings, 9/11 scenarios, and nuclear strikes.

๐Ÿ›‘ Google completely disabled the feature in under a day to stop the flood of AI-generated disasters.

Google Earth just integrated Nano Banana 2 โ€” and itโ€™s absolute magic.

Zoom in on any spot on the map, hit "create image", type your prompt, and the model renders the scene directly over real satellite imagery.

What you can do with it:
โžก๏ธ Rebuild history: Want to see Pompeii in all its glory? The AI turns ancient ruins back into a thriving classical city.
โžก๏ธ Uncover details: Interested in a landmark? The model highlights key facts and points out details youโ€™d normally miss.
โžก๏ธ Peek into the future: Curious what a location will look like years from now? The AI paints a realistic futuristic landscape.

The best part โ€” the image isn't generated from scratch. It relies on the real geometry of the location, meaning you can turn an empty lot near your house into a garden and instantly see how it fits into the actual neighborhood.

Post an AI image? Donโ€™t forget the label

๐Ÿ›‘ New rules have officially kicked in across the EU: all AI-generated content โ€” images, video, audio, and deepfakes โ€” must now be clearly labeled. Plus, businesses are legally required to inform users whenever theyโ€™re interacting with a chatbot instead of a real person.

The price tag for ignoring it? Up to โ‚ฌ15 million or 3% of global annual turnover. Basically, a single unflagged AI image could end up costing you a fleet of brand-new Porsches.

๐Ÿ›‘Turns out the โ€œMade with AIโ€ tag isnโ€™t about modesty anymore โ€” itโ€™s pure wallet protection
