RBA Key 🗝️ decision due

No surprises but the Mortgage numbers are sobering.

Aus Bureau of Statistics:

Average Mortgage Amounts:

National Average - $ 637,000

NSW average - $ 780,000

VIC average - $ 604,000

QLD average - $ 599,000

WA average - $ 567,000

SA average - $ 546,000

👉 With stubborn inflation numbers recently reported, any RBA interest rate rises here threaten sparking off a recession, as 800,000 mortgages would immediately fall into the "Distressed, (inability to make re- payments)" categories, joining the 200,000 already there.

THE RBA, WITH RECORD PROFITS, NEEDS TO HOLD THE RATES HERE, BEFORE POTENTIALLY WORSENING THE ECONOMY AND CAUSING HOME LOSSES

URBANSCOOP PETITION

Tommy Robinson faces politically motivated charges intended to silence him and intimidate others who dare to speak out.

This is not merely about one individual; it's about defending our collective right to free expression, public interest reporting, justice, and the pursuit of truth no matter where it leads.

He should not have to face a lengthy prison sentence for reporting the truth.

Especially so when national and local governments and the media covered up the truth, and in doing so, destroyed a community and closed its school.

Global Stock Traders Face Dip-Buying Dilemma After Crushing Selloff, “Fear Trade” From US to China From Russia To Brazil

A two-day rout late last week left the S&P 500 nearly 6 per cent from its July peak while the tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite extended losses to notch its first 10 per cent correction from a record high since early 2022.
Equities plunged in Europe and Asia and Latin America as well - from US to China, and from Russia To Brazil.

One example is Japan’s Nikkei index losing nearly 5 per cent percentfor the week.

For instance, Intel stock lost one-fourth of its value during Friday trading hours, after it was revealed the company was over-invested in risky projects.

Selloffs after disappointing earnings from tech-focused companies such as Amazon, and Alphabet meanwhile, exacerbated concerns that stocks may have become too richly valued.

The buyers of the dip risk being steamrolled if recession fears grow following last week’s run of alarming U.S. data. The S&P 500 has fallen an average of 29 per cent during recessions since World War Two, according to Truist Advisory Services.

The Cboe Volatility index – known as Wall Street’s fear gauge – hit its highest since March 2023 on Friday as demand for options protection against a stock market selloff surged.

“That’s a huge move,” said Michael Farr, president and CEO of Farr, Miller & Washington. “It certainly looks like there is a fear trade there.

Hedge Funds Grow Bearish Amid Economic Slowdown Worldwide, Goldman Sachs Says

Global hedge funds continued to add bearish equity bets to portfolios in the week to Aug. 1 when fresh data sparked fears the U.S. economy is slowing faster than anticipated, Goldman Sachs said in a note to clients.

It marks the third consecutive week that hedge funds’ bets that stocks will fall outpaced the addition of long positions, Goldman said, noting one long position was added for every 3.3 short bets.

Hedge funds reduced their exposure in seven of 11 global sectors. These included financials, industrials, real estate and energy. Healthcare stocks were also sold at the fastest pace in roughly a year.

Hedge funds have been unwinding risk bets for a couple of weeks and on Friday fundamental long/short hedge funds had their worst day since June 2022, with their performance falling 1.8 per cent on average, Goldman Sachs said in a separate note.

On Monday The Selloff Continued in Asia and Indo-Pacific

Japan's benchmark Nikkei Stock Average opened lower on Monday and soon extended losses to 7 per cent, marking a third straight day of decline.

Stocks dropped elsewhere in the Asia-Pacific region. Taiwan's benchmark Taiex dove 7.9 per cent, falling past the 20,000 mark at one stage. South Korea's KOSPI was down by over 5 per cent, Singapore's Straits Times Index fell 3.6 per cent and Australia's All Ordinaries skidded more than 3 per cent.

‼️ STOCK MARKETS - Don't Panic

The USA sell off continues, causing worldwide domino-effect market losses, as "investors" panic.

Proper "asset retention" by diversification, is what we here have been suggesting and advocating, as an insurance policy, for over a year, as many signs have been pointing towards this massive "market correction".

The markets were (and still are) BY ALL METRICS, severely overpriced, as evidenced in the large number of big investment firms going "all cash" earlier this year. (smart money already sold out).

They weren't panicking, they were "positioning", getting ready then, to buy up good companies at heavy discounts in case of the likely market crash.

Bitcoin and crypto are once again exposed as the big gamble they always were, but gold and silver are only down small percentages right now, (due most likely to being "cashed out" to cover other investor losses).

CONSIDER:
Financially solid companies, dividend "Kings", and good targeted investments will become much better buys at lower prices, after the chaos and panic clears up.

Billionaires like Warren Buffet will be buying at huge discounts.

The markets aren't down 10% yet, but 40% isn't beyond reach, as a worse case scenario.
That places most companies back down to "reasonable & normal" price-to-book and price to earnings range, instead of the bloated "values" we still see now.

"Don't try to catch a falling knife", meaning don't try to judge the market bottom, just pick a price point if you wish to re-invest, add shares, or start investing at better prices.

This is painful to suffer through, as pensions and investments suffer, on paper.

It's likely to get far worse, temporarily, but that REALLY depends on the herd-response.

At this point, try to think long term strategy, plan on actions, and try not to over-react.
🇺🇸 Leave that to Americans.

NOTE: Reports of USA brokerages suffering login failures and service outages were mostly overblown, as it was "App" login server failures, not internet main sites, except on a few overburdened USA exit nodes (meaning VPN's and direct logins worked fine, according to actual user sources).

THIS IS LESS OF A LOSS THAN CURRENT INFLATION

But, since USA herd panic is infecting world markets, just try to Imagine what happens to markets when Iran finally launches a retaliatory attack on Israel, and full blown USA involvement may be triggered.

Oil prices will spike upwards, causing economic turmoil even worse.

PLAN NOW FOR LIKELY WORSENING, BUT POSITION YOURSELF TO RESPOND NOT JUST REACT.

Episode 78
Medicine Girl

with

Daniel Roytas
-You Are the Medicine

This is going to be good. I just discovered Daniel a couple months ago. His research he did on the mold/fungus/yeast/parasites really blew my mind and made so much sense.

I have been enjoying and sharing his podcasts. I also enjoy your podcast Robyn, I think I found Daniel through a telegram link you shared. I appreciate both of you so much, you have really opened my eyes the vit/supplement scams and I am very grateful.

In this episode of the Medicine Girl Podcast, Robin Stebbins interview the incredible Daniel Roytas  (MHSc Human Nutrition, BHSc Naturopathy).

Daniel is gaining popularity and a solid reputation for calling out the vitamin and supplement swindle.

Daniel and I talk about everything from the fraudulent vitamin and supplement industry, why only some people heal with homeopathy, what causes illness and disease, and how does the human body heal.

We really go deep into the victim trauma archetype, and how we are convinced to sabotage our own healing.

This episode is for anyone that wants to step away for any and all of the industrial complexes and live in health vitality and personal power.

BONUS:
..a before the show candid discussion that sheds more light on our conversation. You won't want to miss the 20 or 30 mic drop moments I will include in some jaw dropping audio clips.

Daniel spent over 10 years as a lecturer and senior lecturer around Australia teaching natural medicine to undergraduate students.

Despite always having a feeling that something was amiss, he could never quite put his finger on, he resigned from his lecturing position as he had become disillusioned with the curriculum he was teaching.

This move away from teaching led Daniel to dedicate more time towards his platform ‘Humanley’ which is focused towards helping people understand the truth about health and wellness.

He was also able to finish writing a book called ‘Can You Catch a Cold?:

Untold History & Human Experiments, which was recently published in March of 2024.  With over 1,000 citations, no stone has been left unturned in the pursuit of unravelling this age-old mystery.

Daniel believes that the field of health and wellness has been needlessly overcomplicated.

His philosophy is that achieving good health is actually very simple and that mother nature provides everything we need to live happy, healthy and fulfilling lives.

Navigating Uncertain Times:
The Importance of Building Solid Connections and Engendering Trust

We face an uncertain future marked by global challenges such as battling climate change issues, political instability and economic fluctuations. It is now more crucial than ever to prioritise building strong connections and importantly, to foster trust in our personal and professional relationships

Dark times ahead means we may need to navigate environmental crises, social upheaval, and economic downturns..

It will be essential to establish a network of support and to engender trust with others to navigate through adversity.

Building solid connections with others not only provides emotional support during challenging times..it also opens doors to new opportunities.

Research by Harvard Business Review emphasises that the significance of networking and building strong relationships, highlighting that individuals with a diverse network of connections are more likely to succeed in their endeavors and effectively navigate through uncertain times (HBR, 2019).

In times of crisis, trust is a valuable currency. Whether in personal relationships or professional settings, engendering trust is essential for collaboration, problem-solving, and resilience.

A study published in the Journal of Applied Psychology underscores the importance of trust in the workplace, revealing that high levels of trust among team members lead to better performance and adaptability during periods of uncertainty (JAP, 2018).

So, how to build solid connections and engender trust during the times ahead?

Communication and transparency are key elements in fostering trust.

Forbes suggests that open and honest communication is vital in building trust, particularly in leadership roles, as it creates a sense of security and stability in uncertain times (Forbes, 2020).

Actively listening to others, showing empathy and being reliable are essential traits for nurturing trust and strong connections.

In conclusion, the times ahead call for a proactive approach to building solid connections and engendering trust in our relationships. By prioritising meaningful connections and cultivating trust, we can better prepare ourselves to face the challenges that lie ahead and emerge stronger and more resilient.
