Today I was reminded why I have been banned from TV News for 20+ years.
I was in a hotel this morning so did something unusual, morning TV. I watched a "reporter" talk in front of a "flooded" house. The pan showed enough of the house to show a stilted house with a small flooded downstairs entry. No owner on hand. The second part of the "report" was turning to talk to a woman who's house had NOT been flooded. No sign of her house.
This was how the morning News reported floods in Melbourne.
The stupid, it hurts. I'm banned because I get a tad worked up at just how stupid and knowing that people buy this crap.
