A military source told Tasnim News Agency that the Americans, after their despair in rescuing the pilot of the fighter jet that was shot down by the Iranian armed forces two days ago, are seeking to bomb and kill him in the places where he is likely to be found.

He added that several American fighter jets bombed some areas in the Khekiloieh district of Khekiloieh province and Bowir Ahmad last night, believing that their pilot was in that area.

The source confirmed that the Americans have lost hope of finding their second member, whom they describe as "a member of the air crew", and therefore are trying to kill him by bombing several points.

The source did not comment on whether this person is currently in the custody of the Iranian forces or not, saying: "We are not currently providing any information on this matter, but what can be noted is that the Americans are not telling the whole truth even about the first pilot, whom they claimed they rescued."

He concluded by saying that the case of the crew of this fighter jet that was shot down will turn into a new cover-up scandal for the United States.
