🚨 CENTCOM has requested the first-ever combat deployment of the U.S. Dark Eagle hypersonic missile against Iran.
According to Bloomberg, U.S. Central Command is pushing to rush the Army’s long-delayed Dark Eagle (LRHW) weapon into the region.
Why this matters:
⚪️ Iran has moved its ballistic missile launchers beyond the roughly 300-mile reach of the Precision Strike Missile (PrSM)
⚪️ Dark Eagle’s reported range of about 1,725 miles would allow strikes deep inside Iran
⚪️ It travels at speeds above Mach 5 using a hypersonic glide vehicle that is extremely difficult to intercept
What makes this significant:
This would be the first operational use of the U.S. hypersonic arsenal. The system is not fully declared combat-ready, but is now being accelerated due to rising tensions.

Pokalyanoye is in good Russian hands...
The capture of Pokalyanoye, located on the left bank of the Volchya River 5 km south of the border with the Belgorod region, 6 kilometers east of previously liberated Volchansk, and 5 kilometers southwest of previously liberated Bochkovo, creates a second Russian bridgehead in the border area.
30 km to the east is the "triangle" of villages – Degtyarnoye, Krugloye, and Zemlyanki – that has now come under Russian control as well.
The "North" group of forces continues to expand the buffer zone preventing the AFU from invading Russian territory once again. The next targets after Pokalyanoe and Bochkovo are the villages of Volokhovka and Tikhoe.
