The San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock (LPD-17), part of the Iwo Jima Amphibious Group currently deployed to the Southern Caribbean, arrived off the coast of Jamaica late last week to assist with ongoing recovery efforts following Hurricane Melissa.
U.S. Sailors and Marines from Combat Logistics Battalion 26 (CLB-26) and Helicopter Detachment 263 (VMM-263), assigned to the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (22nd MEU), are deploying to Jamaica in support of foreign aid as part of Joint Task Force Bravo (JTF-B) at the request of U.S. Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) and the Government of Jamaica.

There was reportedly a friendly fire incident involving FPV and artillery between two units of the AFU which resulted in casualties.
Reportedly the Ukrainians, who are trying to escape Myrnohrad, put on green identification tape instead of yellow as was expected by Ukrainian drone operators.
The complete destruction of the men from the 25th who were attempting to escape was also reported.

According to Bloomberg, the facility could accommodate up to 10,000 soldiers — comparable to the largest US bases in Qatar and Kuwait.
It will include a runway for all types of aircraft, a large logistics center, and accommodation for long-term personnel. Construction could take 2-3 years.
Preparations are also underway to establish a military presence in Damascus, Syria. America is nothing but a threat to the region.
