A humanoid robot will greet visitors and give tours at Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan. The event opens to the public on April 13 on the artificial island of Yumeshima.
Walker C is a humanoid robot made by China’s UBTech Robotics. It will debut at the China Pavilion’s south plaza during the expo.
Though not yet available to the public, it’s expected to compete with top robots like Unitree’s G1, offering skills like barcode scanning, object handling, and smart movement using computer vision.
This reflects China’s push toward AGI (artificial general intelligence), where robots can handle a variety of jobs without needing retraining.
