This process usually took a lot of time, and passengers often did not receive the updated list in a timely manner.
However, due to digitalization, there has been a positive change. Now, ticket inspectors will visit passengers' seats directly and mark vacant seats. This information will be updated within minutes and before reaching the next station, the updated list will be made available to the passengers. This is certainly a commendable improvement.
Moreover, numerous other enhancements have been introduced, such as real-time tracking, online food ordering, online complaint filing, and station WiFi facilities.
