India's first reusable hybrid rocket, 'RHUMI-1', was successfully launched from Chennai on Saturday.

RHUMI-1:

⭐ Rhumi 1 is a spacecraft developed by an Indian start-up, Space Aura Aerospace Technology Pvt. Ltd.

⭐ It is designed to promote space tourism by taking passengers to the edge of space, around 35 km above the Earth’s surface.

⭐ It represents India's entry into the global space tourism market, a sector dominated by companies like SpaceX and Blue Origin.

⭐ The RHUMI Rocket is completely free of fireworks and uses no TNT. It has a hybrid motor powered by generic fuel and an electronically activated parachute deployer.

⭐ The RHUMI-1 rocket utilised a combination of liquid and solid fuel propellants to enhance efficiency and minimize operational costs.

⭐ Rhumi 1 is designed to carry up to six passengers. It will use a stratospheric balloon to ascend to the desired altitude. Passengers will experience near-zero gravity and witness the curvature of the Earth.

•Recently PM Modi donated portable hospital to Ukraine that developed by HLL Life Care company under Project BHISHM ( Bharat Health Initiative for Sahyog Hita and Maitri ) for defence ministry.
•Each cube has operation theatre, mini-ICUs, ventilators, blood-testing equipment, an X-ray machine, and even a cooking station.
•It also includes a shelter facility and power generator, making it entirely self-sufficient during emergencies.

Modi Govt approves Unified Pension Scheme (UPS) For Government employees

Under the assured pension scheme, the beneficiary will get 50 percent of the average basic pay drawn over the last 12 months prior to superannuation for a minimum qualifying service of 25 years. The Indian government has launched a pilot project to rename and transform 60 Fair Price Shops across Gujarat, Rajasthan, Telangana, and Uttar Pradesh into "Jan Poshan Kendras."

⭐ Under this, FPSs will begin selling additional items beyond subsidised grains to address the income challenges faced by ration dealers while improving the nutritional offerings available to beneficiaries under the PMGKAY.

⭐ These Kendras will provide a diverse array of nutrition-rich food items, including pulses and dairy products.

⭐ FPSs will receive loans and invoice financing from SIDBI to support their transformation and operations. The initiative includes collaborations with orgs like AMUL for dairy products and eB2B platforms such as Udaan.

⭐ Launch of New digital tools:

-FPS Sahay: An application providing paperless, presence-less, and collateral-free financing for ration dealers.

-Mera Ration App 2.0: An app designed to give consumers information about the public distribution system.
