💎 Sending Indian diamonds to Antwerp will raise costs and expose our trade secrets, Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal said.

🗣 “If you force us, we will have to take retaliatory steps. We may have to ask you to send your products to Jammu and Kashmir for testing, so that it ends up becoming so expensive that there won’t be a market,” he said.

"We will hurt your business interests if our interests are hurt.”

👉 India is open to setting up of diamond verification centres in Surat or Mumbai in response to the issue.
