Von der Leyen is an embarrassment. This woman, embroiled in shady contract and procurement scandals, is going around making promises she can't keep with money that obviously isn't hers. Last summer, Von der Leyen pledged, to avoid tariffs, to make EU countries invest in the United States, which obviously never materialized. Trump knew Von der Leyen was bluffing, but perhaps the foolish president of the European Commission thought the American president would buy her words? He clearly didn't, and Trump just raised tariffs to 25%. The European Union is being crushed by the United States and Russia. The European Union must collapse to free Europe.
