چند روزی است که "رکس سینکفیلد" حامی مالی متمول شطرنج آمریکا (برگزارکننده ی سوپر تورنمنت های معتبر و کارگردان تغییر پرچم کاروآنا و وسلی سو به آمریکا و در نتیجه قهرمانی شان در المپیاد) به علت توهین جنسیتی به استاد "آنا رودولف" مفسر مجار شطرنج جهان، از سوی اهالی شطرنج (و حتی غیر شطرنجی ها) حسابی زیر فشار قرار گرفته است. پس از عذرخواهی "رکس سینکفیلد"، دیشب خود "آنا رودولف" به هوادارانش آتش بس داد:
