A Father’s Advice (The Will of Imām Ali)

After returning from Siffeen, Imām Ali (peace be with him) gave certain advices to his son. He wrote them in the form of a will. They deal with almost every subject of life which goes a long way to make a man successful in life, brave, chivalrous, humane, generous, virtuous and God-fearing.

Forgiveness from Almighty God

Recitation of this beautiful doa in the last night of holy month of Ramadhan is recommended, to get forgiveness from Almighty God.

❇️ يَا مَنْ أَمَرَ بِالْعَفْوِ!
❇️ يَا مَنْ يَجْزِي عَلَى الْعَفْوِ!
❇️ يَا مَنْ دَلَّ عَلَى الْعَفْوِ!
❇️ يَا مَنْ زَيَّنَ الْعَفْوَ!
❇️ يَا مَنْ يُثِيبُ عَلَى الْعَفْوِ!
❇️ يَا مَنْ يُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ!
❇️ يَا مَنْ يُعْطِي عَلَى الْعَفْوِ!
❇️ يَا مَنْ يَعْفُو عَلَى الْعَفْوِ!
❇️ يَا رَبَّ الْعَفْوِ! الْعَفْوَ الْعَفْوَ الْعَفْوَ.»

💐💐I put six things in six places, but people search it in six other places 💐

💐❶💐 I put knowledge in hunger, people search it in fullness of stomach !

💐❷💐 I put honor and dignity in the night prayers, people search it in the closeness of political authorities !

💐❸💐 I have put wealth in contentment while, people search it in gathering of wealth!

💐❹💐 I have placed the acceptance of prayers in the halal bite and sustenance which is earned by permissible way, but the people are searching it in talks and debates in crowd !

💐❺💐 I put eminence in humility, but people are searching it in pride and arrogance in worldly life !

💐❻💐 I have placed comfort in paradise, and people are demanding it in the world!

Example of one who keeps others shortcomings in his memory that one day he would use it against them, is like trash can. these people should be known as trash-careers of human society. Example of those who are always willing to spread people's good deeds and their positive qualities, these people are like perfume-sellers. For the first group there is verse in Qoran

(🌷إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُحِبُّونَ أَن تَشِيعَ الْفَاحِشَةُ فِي الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ🌷)

Verily those who love that in decency should be propagated regarding those who believe, for them shall be a torment afflictive in the world and the Hereafter

🔥Lie is worst than all evil’s key🔥

البرقي عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ ابْنِ مُسْكَانَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ‏ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ: إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ جَعَلَ لِلشَّرِّ أَقْفَالًا وَ جَعَلَ مَفَاتِيحَ‏ تِلْكَ الْأَقْفَالِ الشَّرَابَ وَ الْكَذِبُ‏ شَرٌّ مِنَ الشَّرَابِ

Imam Baqer peace be with him said: God has created the key for all evil which is liquor but lie is worse than liquor.
In another narration said: that lie devastates faith.

البرقي عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ الطَّائِيِّ عَنِ الْأَصْبَغِ بْنِ نُبَاتَةَ قَالَ قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع‏ لَا يَجِدُ عَبْدٌ طَعْمَ الْإِيمَانِ حَتَّى يَتْرُكَ الْكَذِبَ هَزْلَهُ وَ جِدَّهُ

Imam Ali said: None of the believers could have the taste of faith unless he quit the lie either in real or in fun.

وَ اللَّهِ مَا تَعَمَّدْتُ كَذِباً مُنْذُ عَلِمْتُ أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَمْقُتُ‏ عَلَيْهِ أَهْلَهُ
It is narrated that Imam Husain in the day of Ashura said: I swear upon God since the day I knew that God will punish the liar, I never tried to speak lie.

💠and reveals the evils of the silly and foolish.

✅ مِن وَصايَا الخِضرِ لِمُوسى عليهما السلام:
💠 لا تَكُونَنَّ مِكثاراً بِالنُّطقِ مِهذاراً،
💠 فَإنَّ كَثرَةَ النُّطْقِ تَشينُ العُلَماءَ، وَ
💠 تُبدى مَساوِىَ السُّخَفاءِ.

✅ از سفارشهاى حضرت خضر به حضرت موسى عليهما السلام:
💠 هـرگز پُـرگـو و يـاوه گـو مبـاش؛
💠 زيرا پرگويى دانـايان را عيب دار مى كند و
💠 بديهاى سبك مغزان را نيز آشكار مى كند.



✅ حضرت خضر کی وصیت حضرت موسی (علیہما السلام) کو:
💠ہرگز زیادہ بات اور مذاق نہ کرو، کیوں کہ
💠زیادہ بات کرنا، عالموں کو بے اہمیت بناتی،
💠اور جاہلوں کے عیب اُجاگر کرتی ہے۔

Hasan-ibn Jahm says:
We were in the presence of Imam-e Reza peace be with him. At that time, we reminded his father Imam-e Kadhim peace be with him. Imam said: My father's intellect was incomparable with the intellect of others. However, he use to get advise from one of his servants (who was a black). He was told: Why are you consulting with this servant!
My father replied: If great and exalted God wants, He will open his tongue (language) to goodness and favor.

حسن بن جهم می گوید:
ما در محضر امام رضا سلام الله عليه بودیم در آن هنگام یادی از پدرش امام کاظم عليه السلام کردیم. امام فرمود:
عقل پدرم با عقل دیگران قابل سنجش نبود. با این حال با یکی از خادمان خود که سیاه پوست بود، مشورت می کرد. به ایشان گفته شد: شما چرا با مانند این سیاه پوست مشورت می کنی؟
پدرم پاسخ داد: اگر خداوند تبار و تعالی بخواهد، زبان او را به صلاح و خیر می گشاید.

🌸 Imam Ali peace be with him said🌸:

☘Stay away from lies because it's far away from faith. And speaking truth is on the path of salvation and grace, but the liar is on the edge of destruction....

☘Do not be jealous for it destroys the faith like fire burns the wood in ashes. In that way does jealousy ruin the faith.....

☘Do not be enemies and hold a grudge against each other because that is the destroyer of everything.....

☘Be aware of lengthy desires because it ruins the intellect and causes the negligence of remembering God. Consider lengthy desires as illegitimate because it is a deception and its owner is deceived.
