💎Imām Hasan Askari (peace be with him) is reported to have said,
☯ Indeed, generosity has a limit. If it is exceeded it turns into extravagance.
☯ Prudence and precaution has a limit. If it is exceeded, it turns into cowardliness.
☯ Frugality and providence has a limit. If it is exceeded it turns into miserliness.”
☯ And for bravery there is a limit. If it is exceeded, then it is recklessness.

💎 قال أبو محمد العسكري عليهما السلام:
☯إن للسخاء مقدارا فإن زاد عليه فهو سرف،
☯وللحزم مقدارا فإن زاد عليه فهو جبن،
☯وللاقتصاد مقدارا فإن زاد عليه فهو بخل،
☯وللشجاعة مقدارا، فإن زاد عليه فهو تهور.



💎امام حسن عسكري (سلام الله عليه) فرمود:
☯ سخاوت مقداري دارد كه با زياده روي اسراف است.
☯ احتياط هم مقداري دارد و اگر از آن تجاوز شود بزدلي محسوب مي شود.
☯ ميانه روي هم مقداري دارد و اگر در آن زياده روي شود بخل است.
☯ و براي شجاعت نيز حدودي است و هر گاه از آن تجاوز شود بي باكي محسوب مي شود.



💎امام حسن عسكري سلام اللہ علیہ نے فرمایا:
☯عطا کرنا اور بانٹنے کی حد ہے، اگر حد سے بڑھ جائے تو اسراف ہے۔
☯احتیاط کی بہی مقدار ہے، اگر اس سے بڑھ جائے تو ڈرپوکی ہے۔
☯احتیاط سے خرچ کرنے کی بہی مقدار ہے، اگر حد سے بڑھ جائے تو کنجوسی ئے۔
☯اسی طرح بہادر کی بہی مقدار ہے لیکن اگر حد سے گذر جائے تو بے باکی بن جاتی ہے۔

Some people were making a mosque

Suddenly Bahlōl arrived and asked: what are you doing ?

They replied: we are making a mosque.

Bahlōl said: for what?

They replied: "there is no “what”! It is for the sake of God."

Bahlōl wanted them, the trustees of good works (who built the mosque) to realize the degree of their sincerity and honesty in building that mosque..

So he (Bahlōl) secretly ordered a rock, and wrote on it, "Bahlōl’s Mosque" and installed it overnight on the mosque’s main entrance.

The trustees of the mosque came the next day and saw the stone on the main entrance where there was written "Bahlōl Mosque."

They became upset; and started searching for Bahlōl. When they found him, they beat him and said that you put others' efforts under your name.

Bahlōl said: "Did not you say that you have made the mosque for GOD?"

Let’s say if people make a mistake and think that I made this mosque, but God doesn’t make mistakes (he knows who sincerely built it).

In the time of Imam Hadi (peace be with him), a person wrote a letter from one of the distant cities

he wrote in letter that O Imam I am away from you. Sometimes I have needs or problems, anyway what do I do?

Imam Hādi (peace be with him) wrote in answer to him:

"Move your lips and talk. We are not far.

▪️ Wisdom from Nahjul Balagha

O creatures of Allah, weigh yourselves before you are weighed and assess yourselves before you are assessed. Breathe before suffocation of the throat. Be submissive before you are harshly driven. Know that if one does not help himself in acting as his own adviser and warner then no one else can (effectively) be his adviser or warner.

عِبَادَ اللهِ، زِنُوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ تُوزَنُوا، وَحَاسِبُوهَا مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ تُحَاسَبُوا، وَتَنَفَّسُوا قَبْلَ ضِيقِ الْخِنَاقِ، وَانْقَادُوا قَبْلَ عُنْفِ السِّيَاقِ، وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّهُ مَنْ لَمْ يُعَنْ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ حَتَّى يَكُونَ لَهُ مِنْهَا وَاعِظٌ وَزَاجِرٌ، لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ مِنْ غَيْرِهَا زَاجِرٌ وَلاَ وَاعِظٌ.

⛓️‍💥 Breaking arrogance, building humility through hardships

Imam Ali (as) said:

God tests His worshippers with many different hardships; He makes them engage in different struggles, and He makes them undergo multiple misfortunes, all in order to extract arrogance from their hearts and establish humbleness in their souls.
