Tell the believing men to lower their gaze and guard their private parts. That is purer for them. Indeed, Allah is All-Aware of what they do.

Surah An-Nur (24:30)

This verse clearly commands believing men to:

1. Lower their gaze — avoid looking at that which is unlawful.

2. Guard their chastity — protect themselves from falling into zina or any indecency.

It emphasizes that this is purer for them spiritually and morally, and reminds that Allah knows all actions, even those done in secret.
