Some people think that people should be given the right to use fresh water as they like. Others believe governments should strictly control the use of fresh water.

Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

It is believed by some that the right of using fresh water should be given to people as much as they want, while others hold the opinion that there should be a strict regulation of making use of fresh water by governmental bodies. While the latter view may seem plausible, I personally support the former more.

One main reason why the individuals within the government should regulate the use of fresh water is that it can encourage many people not waste too much water in everyday life, helping them realise how this resource can be valuable and limited in the entire world. Also, this policy can help people living in other parts of the world, meaning that if many become water-conscious and learn to save water, it can be highly beneficial for those who lack water and proper infrastructure. When too much water is not spent or unconsciously wasted, it can reach people suffering from water shortage.

Despite the given arguments above, I am convinced that people should have much freedom in terms of using fresh water. Firstly, they have a huge relief when nobody is controlling and can access to fresh water anytime they want. Morover, people working in the field of agriculture or other ones that require to use fresh water need it a lot to get satisfactory results in their jobs. But if the usage of fresh water is strictly controlled, it may rob the chance of using it freely and enjoy their life, which is why there should not be a strict management in fresh water usage in the country.

In conclusion, while it can be true that fresh water use is supposed to be controlled in a strict way, I feel that people have the freedom of using this blessing in life. (297 words)
