I’ve been down the last few days. Being sick was a straight nerf. it stalls the training, messes with my appetite and drains my training . But when the mission is interrupted, you don’t just wait it out brother, you optimize the recovery variables you can still control.
I’ve been tapping into my electrolytes heavily to keep the foundation from crumbling. Here is the logic behind why these are non-negotiable, especially when your system is under stress:
System Maintenance: Electrolytes like sodium, potassium, and magnesium are the electrical signals for your body. Without them, your brain and muscles can't communicate effectively, leading to that "brain fog" and lethargy.
Fluid Precision: Hydration isn't just about drinking water, it’s about where that water goes. Electrolytes ensure the fluid actually enters your cells instead of just passing through, preventing dehydration while your immune system is working overtime.
Hormonal Balance: Staying hydrated with electrolytes helps manage cortisol levels. When you’re sick, your body is in a high-stress state; if you let your electrolyte balance slip, you’re just making it harder for your body to flip back into an anabolic, muscle-building state. Let's keep moving boys

Yo boys, for May. I’ll be opening up 1 spot for my 1-1 coaching where I go beyond what’s here
and work work with you personally.
I’m not looking for casual lifters but someone who’s tired of being stuck and ready to start seeing progress and invest in themselves.
DM me “May” on my instagram @junioratawodi or you can click the link in my bio to apply and I’ll reach out to you and establish what your goals are, not “just getting big”. 💯💯
Ready to work with yall 🔱
