【多倫多停電8小時市中心「熄燈」 商戶服務受阻移民部長困𨋢】

加拿大多倫多周四（11日）發生大停電，市中心繁榮區域出現歷時8小時的停電，是繼上月全國斷網後又一大型事故。受事件影響，多間銀行、商戶以及大學需要提早關閉，當局更接獲多宗困𨋢報告，其中移民部長弗雷澤（Sean Fraser）困𨋢，他在twitter發文表示「真差」。電力公司表示，是次事故因一輛起重機撞上高壓電纜造成，多倫多市政府已就事件展開調查。

涉事電力公司、主要服務安大略省的Hydro One表示，事故由多倫多海濱工業區Port Lands一艘駁船移動起重機時，意外撞上3條高壓電纜造成，受影響範圍包括Carlton Street以北至Queens Quay E.以南及York Street以東至Bayview Avenue；以及The Esplanade South 以北至Queens Quay E.及Church Street以東至Lower Jarvis Street，受影響客戶達1萬人。

多倫多市政府發表聲明，指是次事件中未接獲傷亡報告，已展開調查，並要求負責的企業提供完整報告。

人權組織Safeguard Defenders 一份報告指出，中國於世界各地原來設有「警僑事務海外服務站」，意即中國於海外的「警署」。

當中遍佈歐美， 以英國為例，則設有3個，分別為位於倫敦及格拉斯哥，而單計加拿大多倫多更多達3個，美國紐約亦有一個，總共30個。

Safeguard Defenders表示，雖然未有證據證明上述「海外警署」有騷擾海外的人權份子，但曾有西班牙的案例反映，中國警方把受通輯的男子帶到「海外警署」上，與中國淅江當地執法部門視像對話，而受通輯男子的家人則坐於執法部門人員身旁，情況等同威脅。
