Dear Sir/Madam,
There are currently hundreds of students being trapped inside the HK Polytechnic University by the police surrounding all exits.
Our students are desperately fending off the police’s’ attack.
Some members in the police force have been spotted carrying AR15, MP5 and sniper rifles arming with real bullets and the police has just announced publicly that they are prepared to use live rounds on students if they continue their resistance.
Paramedics who want to help have been arrested on site.
Immediate pressure from the international community is required to stop the unnecessary bloody showdown happening right now on the university grounds.
It is a Massacre!!!

陳茂波料港經濟首季收縮 跑輸新韓台日
財政司長陳茂波在最新發表的網誌表示，受第五波疫情影響，本港經濟第一季度無可避免將陷入收縮，打斷之前連續四個季度復甦的勢頭。最新失業率急升0.6個百分點至4.5%，並預告將會繼續攀升。陳茂波指出，不同經濟環節的數據均反映著當前形勢壓力巨大，例如將公布的本港2月份零售銷售，勢將結束連續12個月的升勢，再次出現下跌，出口增長亦將放緩，因此本港經濟第一季度無可避免將陷入收縮，打斷之前連續四個季度復甦趨勢。
和香港鄰近的國家或地區相比的話，新加坡GDP方面，經濟學家預估，2022年將增4%，至於2022年第一季，GDP估將增3.7%。至於南韓2022年2月，由於晶片、汽車等出口支柱產品需求強勁，南韓2月出口額年增20.6%，金額達539.1億美元，創歷年同月新高，並寫下連16紅紀錄。因此估計南韓首季經濟也不會陷入收縮。
台灣同樣受惠產業出口強勁，半導體業景氣也持續暢旺，預測第1季經濟成長率則為3.2%，較2月預測的3%上升0.2個百分點。日本方面， 10位民間經濟學家替日本經濟新聞所造的問卷調查顯示，剔除物價變動影響後的實際經濟環比年化增長率，預測今年首季均值為下降0.02％。按陳茂波的悲觀預計，香港的收縮相信比日本為甚，即是說，香港經濟在「動態清零」的目標下，經濟跑輸疫情同樣嚴重國家或地區。
