Have you seen this billboard?
It has just popped up all over Australian cities - Leichhardt, Rozelle and Silverwater in #Sydney and Carlton in #Melbourne to name a few locations - and bears the stamp of Chinese Communist Party propaganda, broadcast blatantly on our streets. What it seeks to do is to normalise and glorify China's so called 'New Era' of repression in Hong Kong, following the brutal crackdown of democracy activists and civil society.
For Hongkongers in Australia, it is a cruel reminder of the rights and freedoms that they have lost in their home city. It is also offensive to all democracy loving Australians.
Similar signage in Brussels was taken down 24 hours after citizens registered their outrage and we can do the same - these billboards must come down!

中共政權慶祝七十三週年國慶之際，英國多個香港抗爭組織毋忘三年前香港人奮身反抗中共極權主義，於同日起啟動聯合行動，在不同城市舉行一連串斷絕中共姊妹城市活動，當中包括集會、街站和遊行等，當中有十四個城市參與。
On the 73th anniversary of the establishment of the People's Republic of China, several Hong Kong activist groups across the UK cities launched a UK Joint Action of severing sister city relationship with China to resist this totalitarian regime. There are 14 participating cities.

曼徹斯特香港人及組織就2022年10月16日中國駐英國曼徹斯特領事館人員襲擊和平示威者事件發表之聯合聲明
我們深切關注今日中國駐英國曼徹斯特領事館人員襲擊和平示威者的事件。此暴力事件明顯侵犯英國公民的言論及人身自由，絕不能容忍。
從不同直播片段可見，中國駐英國曼徹斯特領事館職員破壞及搶奪和平示威者的私有財產，更有數名香港示威者被中國領事館職員強行擄入領事館範圍，並遭一群（至少五至六名）中國領事館職員暴力圍毆。
事件足證中國的政治壓迫無分國界，甚至在英國街頭上演。
我們懇切要求英國外交部（ Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office）以及外相 James Cleverly MP 立即立案調查涉事中國領使館職員有否違反英國法律及國際法。
我們絕不容忍任何對和平示威者的暴力行為，並嚴正譴責中國駐英國曼徹斯特領事館職員無理限制英國國民的人身、集會及示威自由並施行暴力的野蠻行為。
我們謹此對受害的和平示威者表示慰問，並祝傷者早日康復。

曼徹斯特香港人及組織就2022年10月16日中國駐英國曼徹斯特領事館人員襲擊和平示威者事件發表之聯合聲明
我們深切關注今日中國駐英國曼徹斯特領事館人員襲擊和平示威者的事件。此暴力事件明顯侵犯英國公民的言論及人身自由，絕不能容忍。

在英居民留意－聯署簽名要求英政府加快庇護審批程序
在英國等候政治庇護需時頗長，無身分下會有各樣問題。近日一班在英港人組織發起聯署，呼籲英政府加快審批程序，縮短等候時間，令需要獲取庇護人士早日重獲工作能力，減輕經濟困難。就算最終申請被拒，亦可早日用其他簽證留在英國或選擇前往其他國家。
聯署網頁屬於國會轄下，只要在半年內達10,000個簽名，英政府就需就聯署作出回應，不過暫時距離目標仍有很大距離，希望各位在英港人可以花5分鐘簽署支持，並將連結繼續分享給其他在英居民。

引起國際廣泛關注的香港「47人初選案」已正式開審，有在台港生發起聯署聲援被告，多位台灣學者也有參與。
聲明發起人之一、身在台灣的前香港中文大學學生會副會長羅子維，周二（7日）接受本台訪問，他指出「47人初選案」作為《國安法》下規模最大的「政治迫害」，但台灣社會關注度較低，因此希望透過聯署喚醒台灣人關注。台灣與香港除了是共同追求民主、自由，同時也看到台灣的倒影，面對同一敵人，同樣被中共打壓。
羅子維續指，留意到「和平協議」在「九合一選舉」後被重提，他希望台灣人小心。他說：「小心所謂『和平協議』、『一國兩制』的不同序事，所謂的苗頭興起。希望大家可以再看香港的例子，要再小心『和平協議』及不同版本的論述。」
聲明指出，「47人初選案」是《港區國安法》通過後「規模最大的政治迫害」，並透過「設立國安法官、取消陪審團、剝奪被告公開審訊權利等手段，徹底踐踏了香港的司法制度。中國政府只求營造一場政治秀，以撲滅香港人的希望和勇氣」。
反觀台灣，聲明指出一旦台灣盲目相信中國承諾的「和平」或「繁榮」，最終將會「導致整個國家主權的滅亡，無數平民百姓動輒被捕，以往穩定的生活反而消失」。聲明續指，近來台灣面對新政治局勢，一中框架的「和平協議」竟重返公共討論，他們希望台灣社會「毋忘香港前車之鑑，審慎應對中國共產黨拋來的糖衣毒藥」。
