Who wants to go there with me?)
Some people think that organizing international sports events is good for the host country while others think it is bad. Discuss both views and state your opinion.
Organizing sports competitions has long been put into practice since the ancient times. However, whilst some opine that it is beneficial to hold international sports events for the organizing country, it is thought to be detrimental by others. I will discuss both stands, and give my opinion on why I think the advantages of such practice far outweigh the side effects it may breed.
On the one hand, hosting worldwide sports occurrences has some profitable sides for the country having them. Firstly, countries stand a chance of promoting sightseeing spots to further boost their economy from tourism. That is, not only do the athletes come to the country and get around some scenic spots, but the fans coming throughout the whole world may also get attracted and decide to re-visit the country in the future. Governments might benefit from the items sold during the events; make people interested in their culture by selling national articles, or by dressing in special clothing. More importantly, sport in general, can be developed sharply as governments should meet all the global standards in order to be a host. Sometimes global society may even decide to leave the equipment in the host country, which can be a trigger to the rapid evolution of sports there. Take a fencing tournament held in Uzbekistan in 2019, which was the first time ever in the countryโs history. Since everything went smoothly as they had been planned, the Global Fencing Federation decided to rewarded the country with not taking away prohibitively expensive equipment - a milestone of the development of fencing in Uzbekistan. Therefore, I believe that this phenomenon serves for the betterment of the host country.
On the other hand, there still might be some drawbacks of organizing globally recognized sports events. The first main reason for thinking so could be the mess it can bring. To be precise, fans may throw out their rubbish to wherever they want leading to massive waste spots, or even worse, conflicts might occur when things go out of control as fans of a losing team tend to pour scorn on the other side because of anger. More alarmingly, it is highly likely to cost a good fortune for the country to organize such events, which may not be welcomed by citizens as there could be other vital sectors needing an urgent investment. Governments may have to put off other activities due to the attention needed for global events as no government wants to leave bad impression in front of other countries. Nevertheless, these are minor issues, and can be addressed easily provided the government takes the responsibility of organizing them once it has already become wealthy and prepared enough. In Uzbekistan, for instance, government regulated all the fans of the Asian Cup in football by bringing the army, during which, people stayed calm even when their team lost. I am, therefore, of the opinion that the negative sides of such an occurrence should not be exaggerated since they might be monitored.
In conclusion, while it is believed that organizing intercontinental sports events can be deleterious for the host country, I reiterate that the beneficial sides it has are certainly needed for the country to further develop, and bind tighter relationships with other nations as potential dangers can be tackled before they could arise.

I can surely say that this photo has been a nice trigger to push myself further forward. Obviously, I can get a solid 8.0 for my writing by paying enough attention to both tasks. With further improvement, I think I will be able to reach 8.5 for the very section. And everything becomes clear for the upcoming months:
1. Listening and reading - both active and passive, doing analysis, watching and reading articles/documentaries more. Hopefully, these will be enough to keep listening and reading scores unchanged.
2. Reading Pauline Cullen's books, writing more samples with clear analysis
3. Speaking for various topics except for IELTS topics. I strongly think that a person who can support casual conversations without too much effort, can simply ace IELTS speaking.
Target has been locked:
Listening - 9.0
Reading - 9.0
Writing - 8.5
Speaking - 8.5
