Russian forces advanced from their positions in the central part of the village and moved south to the southern houses. They then pushed further, capturing positions in the forest plantations slightly further south. Additionally, Russian forces completed the capture of the treeline southwest of Veselivka.
Further north, Russian forces advanced in Kursk Oblast and occupied the forest plantation on the international border, capturing empty positions there.
