Hezbollah issued two statements regarding recent attacks on the IDF in response to Israeli ceasefire operations.

They stated that they attacked Israeli soldiers in the town of Taybeh, southern Lebanon, with an FPV drone, reportedly resulting in casualties. A second drone then targeted an evacuation team arriving at the location.

A Russian helicopter of an unknown type was shot down over Mali, likely by the Azawad Liberation Front. The crew was killed.

Heavy fighting is ongoing between the Russian-backed Mali government and JNIM + Azawad Liberation Front (FLA) fighters. Russian and Malian Army forces are currently besieged in a former military base outside the town of Kidal, where heavy fighting is ongoing following failed negotiations aimed at forming an evacuation corridor.

JNIM has called on Russia to abstain from the conflict in return for them to not target Russian military bases.

Following negotiations between Russia and the FLA-JNIM alliance, an agreement has been reached, which allows soldiers of Russia's Africa Corps to safely leave the besieged former military base on the outskirts of the town of Kidal, eastern Mali.

The Malian Armed Forces are not included in this deal, and will not be allowed to leave.

Local Palestinian elections took place in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip over the last few days.

In the Gaza Strip, only the Deir al-Balah Governorate in central Gaza took part in the elections, as it was the only region intact enough to do so. This meant only around 70,000 Gazan residents were eligible to vote, as it did not include displaced people from other regions. Of these residents, only 22.7% ended up voting.

The Palestinian Authority required all candidates in the West Bank and Gaza Strip to abide by PLO requirements, which includes recognising Israel as an independent state. Those who did not do this weren't allowed to partake in the elections.

A pro-Fatah (Palestinian Authority) party won in Deir Al-Balah Governorate, with 6 out of 15 seats. In the West Bank, Fatah won most seas, including in two governorates (Ramallah and Nablus), where councils were formed without any elections.

Interestingly, despite Hamas not being allowed to partake in the elections, Fatah and Hamas held a rare meeting in Gaza to discuss their differences. Hamas also provided security for the polling stations in Deir Al-Balah with unarmed police officers.

The civilian death toll from the massive Russian missile and drone attack on Dnipro has risen to 9, with another 61 being injured.

Ukrainian military observer Konstantin Mashovets refutes claims by many online "experts" who claim that the recent Ukrainian counterattacks in various directions represent a "turning point" in the war.

He highlights how recent Russian offensive operations have resulted in noticeable tactical advances near Slovyansk, Hulyaipole, and Kostyantynivka.
