Now that Kursk is effectively over, what do you guys think the next cope will be?

Will they just return to one of the old ones like meat waves, or Kerch bridge, or F-16s? I mean the North Korean cope can't come back... right?

Oddly small Russian Geran-2 drone attack today, it only lasted a few hours with less than 15 launched.

In the Sumy direction, Russian forces completed the capture of Sudzha and made significant progress in eliminating the remnants of the Ukrainian-controlled territory in Kursk Oblast.

Russian forces advanced into the western neighbourhoods of Sudzha, completing the capture of the city. They also advanced into Goncharovka in two main directions, clearing out the western and southern parts of the village, before moving into the central and western streets. This allowed for an advance west of Sudzha into the village of Rubanshchina, which they then captured. Other assault detachments captured the village of Zaoleshenka, and advanced from there to the forest plantations near the international border, taking up positions in them.

Further south, Russian forces completed the capture of Kurilovka, and advanced further north along the western bank of the Sudzha River, capturing positions in the forests there. They also branched off to the west, capturing the village of Melovoi, and the nearby forest plantations, and forests.

In the north, Russian forces advanced west from Sverdlikovo, capturing part of a treeline. They also seized new positions in the treeline south of Lebedevka.

Meanwhile, in Sumy Oblast, Russian forces advanced into the village of Basivka from the west, capturing the northwestern houses and nearby forest plantations.

+ ~75.90kmΒ² in favour of Russia.

Correction of the frontline in favour of Russia:

Over a week ago, Russian forces advanced in the Lyman direction and entered the village of Novolyubivka.

After a relatively long time of limited activity on this section of the frontline, Russian forces resumed their assault operations and were able to quickly break through Ukrainian positions north of the village of Ivanivka, expanding their bridgehead on the western bank of the Zherebets River.

Russian forces advanced from positions in and around a small, forested area and moved north along a forest plantation. The majority of assault detachments moved north through the fields to Novolyubivka, where they entered the southern part of the village, taking up positions in the houses there, while some of them moved west down a treeline near the Donetsk-Luhansk Oblast border.

Additionally, the frontline was corrected closer to Ivanivka, with Russian forces in control of more of the treeline that runs from that small forest.

+ ~3.70kmΒ² in favour of Russia.

In the Siversk direction, Russian forces restarted assault operations and entered the village of Vasyukivka.

They advanced from the east, taking up positions in the agricultural buildings. Other assault detachments moved from the southeast, capturing positions in the first houses. Russian forces then moved deeper, crossing the tributary of the Vasyukivka River, and entering the centre of the village, where they captured some houses and reached the local school.

+ ~1.09kmΒ² in favour of Russia.

Correction of the frontline in favour of Russia:

Russian forces advanced in the Kramatorsk direction at some point, completing the capture of the village of Hryhorivka.

They advanced from positions in the main part of Hryhorivka, crossing a tributary of the Bakhmutovka River, and establishing control over the northern street of the village.

Additionally, Russian forces captured a series of treelines and forest plantations west of the village of Dubovo-Vasylivka.

+ ~4.10kmΒ² in favour of Russia.

In Toretsk, both Russian and Ukrainian forces are making progress, with both sides recapturing key positions.

Near the city centre, Ukrainian forces advanced from behind the stadium and captured a series of houses on Dovzhenka, Papanina and Homelska streets, taking up positions there. This threatens the city central park, which acts as a buffer-zone for the city centre.

Meanwhile, Russian forces counterattacked from the eastern parts of the city, moving down Nakhimova street and the adjacent streets, reaching Hrushevkoho street, which is the main road leading into the city centre and connects the Toretska Mines. Russian forces captured the military enlistment office building, and 5 four-story buildings.

The first five-story building on Hrushevkoho street is now in the grey zone, with some reports stating its capture, however the other building remains under Ukrainian control.

The frontline was also corrected in the Toretska mines, with Ukrainian forces recapturing the southern part of it.

+ ~0.14kmΒ² in favour of Russia
+ ~0.10kmΒ² in favour of Ukraine

I have made a map with some of the key strongholds and defensive nodes in Toretsk City which I know exist or that I am pretty sure exist.

This update is now live on my map, along with some minor frontline adjustments in accordance to these nodes. (http://shorturl.at/XrnqF)

Last night, 2 Russian Tu-95MS strategic bombers redeployed from Engels-2 Air Base to Olenya Air Base after being equipped with Kh-101 cruise missiles.

This marks the first time in a very long time that there are no Tu-95s stationed at Engels-2 Air Base.

Regarding Shevchenko (Pokrovsk direction).

Following the Ukrainian counterattack in which they reached the southern part of the town, Russian forces began their own counterattacks, resulting in the Ukrainian gains being reversed within a day.

Further attacks are being carried out by Russian assault detachments in the centre and northwestern parts.

Due to the frontline moving back to how it was 2-3 days ago, I won't make an actual map update for this but just know that there is a lot of back-and-forth fighting happening for this key town. Both sides really want to control it.
