Ukraine has reportedly sent in newly mobilised reinforcements to the Lyman direction, to contain the Russian bridgehead on the western bank of the Zherebets River.

According to the Lebanese ministry of Health, 2 people have been killed and 31 others were wounded from Israeli gunfire.

Odesa Oblast:
In Vylkove, as a result of an attack by 12 Geran-2 drones, the territory of the old port of Dunaysky was hit, where units of the 18th detachment of the Ukrainian Navy's marine guard and the 181st battalion of the 122nd territorial defense brigade were stationed. The facility was also used as a base for the deployment of unmanned boats used by Ukraine to attack Crimea and Black Sea Fleet facilities.

4 drones struck the administrative building of the naval guard headquarters. The facility was completely destroyed.

8 drones attacked port infrastructure, damaging berthing facilities, storage facilities and maintenance hangars.

Khmelnytskyi Oblast:
At least 6 drones struck the territory of the Starokostyantyniv air base, which is the base of the 7th tactical aviation brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The airfield is actively used for basing tactical aircraft, as well as for combat use of GBU-39 SDB and AGM-88 HARM, supplied by the West.

Two barracks buildings housing aviation engineers and technical personnel were completely destroyed.

The air base's radio systems were disabled, including the AN/MPN-14K mobile control system.

Taxiways and airfield lighting equipment are damaged, making night flights difficult.

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast:
In Dnipro, a drone struck the 330 kV Dneprovskaya junction substation, resulting in serious damage to the facility, which caused power supply interruptions in the region.

The TDTN-200000/330/110 autotransformer was completely destroyed; depressurization of the oil tank caused an oil leak and subsequent fire.

The 330 kV switchgear was put out of order, including Siemens 3AP1 FG gas-insulated switches and TFZM-110 current transformers.

The 330 kV lines “Dniprovskaya – Kryvyi Rih” and “Dniprovskaya – Zaporizhzhia” were de-energized, which led to disruptions in the operation of industrial facilities in the region.

The substation is a key hub for the distribution of electricity for the metallurgical and defense sectors of Ukraine.

Sumy Oblast:
A drone struck and damaged the Rovesnik training center, which was used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces as a training base for Ukrainian units under the guidance of foreign instructors from Great Britain, France and Israel before being sent to the Kursk direction.

The roof of the main academic building was destroyed.

The facade structures and interior spaces of the building were damaged.

The facility is one of the key training centers for reserve units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

M23 rebels have reached the outskirts of the city of Goma, in the eastern Kivu province of the DRC.

The city is full of refugees and displaced civilians, it is partly in the dark, is entirely without water and internet.

A reliable source told me that M23 rebels reached the city from all directions, indicating that a tight siege has been imposed. Meanwhile, there are reports of a Rwandan troop build-up in the border town of Gisenyi with some expecting an imminent invasion.

And the thing is, no one is talking about this. We could be staring down the barrel of an enormous humanitarian catastrophe. I am currently in the process of finding more sources with differing perspectives from the DRC, so for now the map is approximate.

It appears that the main fighting in the Goma area is focused on the two highways leading into the city, particularly the northern highway, where strong explosions are heard north of the city.

Masses of civilians have been recorded fleeing villages north of Goma, as well as the northeastern suburbs of Goma towards the city centre as the advancing M23 rebels continue to close in on the city.

It's difficult to get a picture of how much resistance is being put up due to unreliable local sources, but we should get a clearer picture in the coming hours.

Russian forces achieved a surprise 4km advance in western Luhansk Oblast. The villages of Novojehorivka and Tverdokhlibove were captured.

The Lebanese armed forces announced that one of their soldiers was killed by Israeli gunfire in southern Lebanon.

M23 announced the closure of the airspace over Goma, claiming that the coalition forces supporting the DRC are using it to bomb civilians. They also called on international forces to leave the DRC.

Meanwhile, it appears that the initial assault on the besieged city was repelled, with heavy artillery reported to the north.

Explosions were reported in the suburbs of Cherkasy. Geran-2 drone attacks are underway. Russian forces have been increasingly targeting Cherkasy city and its surroundings with drones lately.

A Ukrainian drone impacted something in Tver Oblast.

Kenyan President William Ruto and current East African Community (EAC) Chairman released a statement regarding the ongoing siege of Goma in the DRC and announced a summit in the next 48 hours to "chart the way forward."

"The increasing deterioration of the peace and security situation in the DRC is of grave concern. The humanitarian crisis is exacerbated by ongoing military actions, including the closure of airspace over Goma. I call for an immediate and unconditional cessation of hostilities, stress the obligation of all parties to facilitate humanitarian access to affected populations and urge both parties to seek peaceful means to resolve this tragic conflict," he said.

More explosions in Dnipro. Geran-2 drones continue to hit the city.

The IDF Arabic spokesperson announced that tomorrow at 7:00am local time, the Netzarim highway will reopen, allowing Gazans to return to what's left of northern Gaza. At 9:00am, vehicles that pass inspection will also be permitted to move north.
