In an interview with AP, deputy Head of the Office the Ukrainian president, Colonel Pavlo Palisa stated that Ukraine is exploring new recruitment options involving attracting 18- to 25-year-olds who are currently exempt from mobilisation, because "the current drafting system inherited from Soviet times is hindering progress."
One initiative involves financial incentives, clear guarantees for training, and measures to ensure dialogue between soldiers and their commanders.
βAs of now, my view is that we need to start an open dialogue with society,β Palisa said. βBecause the defense of the state is not only the responsibility of the Armed Forces. It is the duty of every Ukrainian citizen, and it is their obligation.β

Estonia has received 6 HIMARS MLRS orders from the U.S. back in late 2022.
While the formal handover occurred in Arkansas, the HIMARS will arrive in Estonia in the coming months, after which they will be integrated into the army in the summer of 2025.
The Estonian Army also purchased GMLRS and ATACMS missiles for them, as well as related equipment. Everything purchased exceeded $200 million, however the US funded $140.5 million of it.

Recent reports from multiple reliable sources indicate that Russian forces advanced in Velyka Novosilka, cutting off Ukrainian formations in the southern part of the town.
Russian forces advanced from positions in the eastern part of the town, linking up with the bridgehead on the eastern bank of the Mokri Yaly river, encircling Ukrainian formations who are holed up at the hospital and school.
Additionally, Russian forces advanced and captured most of the town centre, as well as the rest of the residential area east of the Kashlahach River, pushing the rest of Velyka Novosilka into the grey zone.
+ ~1.33kmΒ² in favour of Russia.

Ukraineβs casualties in Velyka Novosilka are unprecedented. I wonβt share any of the videos as they are very gorey, but many have been killed both in the town and while trying to escape the encirclement.
The Ukrainian command is entirely to blame for this.
