Approximate situation in Velyka Novosilka.

Contrary to previous reports, Ukrainian forces still maintain a presence in southern Velyka Novosilka, in and around the hospital. However, the formations here are either encircled, or about to be encircled. If there is an escape route, it is in the grey zone.

Ukraine's main presence remains in the north of the town, but there is currently no organised defence.

Multiple sources reported that Russian forces advanced in the Malaya Loknya direction of Kursk Oblast, entering and consolidating positions on the outskirts of the Viktorovka.

Russian forces have reportedly advanced in western Donetsk Oblast and entrenched themselves in positions in the southeastern outskirts of Sribne.

If true, I wouldn't expect the battle for Novoandriivka to last long.

A Belarusian delegation arrived in Syria to meet the head of Syria's new government, Ahmed al-Sharaa.

The Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement saying that "We are ready to support the Syrian side in its efforts with the international community to lift the restrictions imposed through sanctions."

Frontline correction: It turns out, Russia does not have a foothold on the overpass of the Pokrovsk - Kostyantynivka highway, and are instead attempting to attack towards it, but are being repulsed by Ukrainian defenders.

Russian forces have begun bypassing the village of Udachne from the south and are approaching the border with Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. There is a relatively large grey-zone, and fighting is ongoing. They have already captured important positions. Battles for Novoserhiivka (the last village before Dnipropetrovsk Oblast) might begin in the next couple of days.

~3.9 km to Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

Surprising reports came from a Ukrainian source this morning, suggesting that the western Donetsk front is beginning to buckle.

Following the reports of a 2.5km advance south of Udachne, new reports came in of a sudden Russian spearhead attack to the southwest of Uspenivka, where Russian forces were able to capture part of southern Novooleksandriivka.

In Uspenivka itself, fierce battles are taking place, with Russian forces pressing hard, and managing to capture the central part of the village. Ukrainian forces maintain positions on the western street; however, the village is now at risk of being encircled, with only the Solona river holding back a Russian advance from the north.

Further south in Sribne, the entry of Russian forces into the southeastern outskirts of the village was confirmed.

The only area where Ukraine is having any success in defending is in Nadiivka, where they are managing to hold back against Russian ground assaults.

What seemed like a cohesive short-term Ukrainian line has begun to fall apart, and unless immediate measures are taken to contain these new advances, the Russians could reach Dnipropetrovsk Oblast in the next week.

Proper map updates will come tomorrow once more information surfaces, but I thought I should bring you guys these details earlier.
