After establishing a foothold in the eastern part of the plant, Russian forces were able to consolidate their positions and push westwards, pushing the Ukrainians out. Ukraine now maintains a small presence in the machine building plant on Kurakhove's western outskirts, so once this is cleared, the battle for the city will come to an end.

The moment of joint US-British airstrikes on the Yemeni capital of Sana'a.
U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) released a statement regarding the US airstrikes on the Yemeni capital of Sanaa.
They reported that U.S. Navy ships and aircraft targeted a Houthi command and control facility, advanced conventional weapon (ACW) production, and storage facilities that included missiles and UAVs. Apparently, these facilities were used in Houthi operations, such as attacks against U.S. Navy Warships and merchant vessels in the southern Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.
In addition to this, the U.S. reportedly destroyed a Houthi coastal radar site and seven cruise missiles and one-way attack UAVs over the Red Sea.
There were no injuries or damage to U.S. personnel or equipment in either incident.

Ivory Coast president Alassane Ouattara announced that French forces will withdraw from the country, continuing the trend of France's military exit from West Africa.
He announced that Ivorians should be proud of the modernised state of their own armed forces, and that in this context it was time for the "coordinated and organised withdrawal of French forces".
This comes as both Chad and Senegal recently cut their military cooperation with France. Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger also previously expelled French troops after military coups and the spread of anti-French sentiment.
French officials have also said that France aims to sharply reduce its presence at all its bases in Africa except Djibouti.

The base is located at a strategic point near the border of Sudan and Chad (thus the west Sahel). It's also located near the gold mines of the Kuri-Bougoudi region.

Since then, they have been virtually absent from the front. Due to their ineffectiveness, weak armor, and lack of good onboard weapons, they are not the best examples for battles of such intensity as in the SMO. Just a fashionable tank.
However, their appearance in the Kurakhovo direction may be connected with the 155th brigade "Anna Kyiv". This unit was trained in France and is equipped with French equipment and weapons, from "Caesars" to AMX-10.
The 155th Brigade initially had problems at the front because it was torn apart and the well-coordinated units were sent to different formations. And, as we can see, the problems did not end there.

There are a lot of people saying that Kurakhove has fallen. So far I have only seen a couple of sources say this. I am waiting on Ukrainian sources to confirm this too.

Russian forces have reportedly captured the village of Solone, on the western flank of Pokrovsk.
With the likely fall of Solone and Vozdyvzhenka, we can already see the early stages of the pincers forming around Pokrovsk.
I believe the next goal is to take the small Terykon southeast of the key village of Udachne (western flank) while also cutting the highway on the eastern flank.
The goal is probably to reach the town of Rodynske, which is where a lot of supplies for Pokrovsk run through.

Ukrainian Journalist Yuriy Butusov confirmed that 1,700 soldiers from 155th mechanized brigade "Anna Kyivska", which was trained in France and sent to Pokrovsk deserted before the first battle. He added that the brigade commander was dismissed immediately after the battle, and one of the brigade formation leaders died of a heart attack.

Russian soldiers on the ground report that clean-up operations are still underway in the machine-building plant in Kurakhove. It’s too early in my opinion to talk about the complete fall of the city, but I expect that in in the 12-24 hours we will receive confirmation.
