Clashes between HTS and what is reportedly SAA resistance cells in the city of Homs, Syria.

Forwarded from Geopolitics Watch
The attack was largely repelled but it seemed more like a test than a full on assault as only light arms were used, in total 4 drones were deployed and 1 was shot down, this shows the dangerous trajectory ISWAP is following where it is rapidly getting access to more and more sophisticated weaponry.
The terrorist group has not claimed the attack yet.

Geolocated footage indicates that Russian forces advanced in Kurakhove and completed the capture of the residential part of the city.
After establishing control over part of the city centre, Russian forces went on to try to encircle the Ukrainian formations in the north of the city, forcing them to withdraw westwards. Battles continued for the westernmost high-rise buildings, before Ukraine was forced to pull back to the Thermal Power Plant.
+ ~3.39km² in favour of Russia.

Recent reports from reliable sources suggest that Russian forces likely advanced in the Lyman direction, establishing a bridgehead on the western bank of the Zherebets river.
After consolidating control over their positions in northern Terny, Russian forces went on to attack across the Zherebets river, utilising one of the dams that separates the reservoirs. They were likely able to quickly infiltrate the village of Ivanivka, establishing control over the settlement in its entirety and fortifying their new positions.

Yet another Russian Il-76 Ministry for Emergency Situations aircraft was spotted near the Malian capital of Bamako. It flew the usual route from Moscow's Zhukovsky international airport, via Krymsk airbase in Krasnodar Krai and Al Khadim Airbase in Libya, before landing at Modibo Keita International Airport in Bamako, Mali.
The video above shows the same aircraft taking off from Modibo Keita International Airport, likely returning to either Libya or Russia.
This comes as an unusually high rate of flights between Moscow and Bamako has been noted following the fall of Assad's government in Syria.

Russian forces have reportedly advanced in and around Pishchane in the Pokrovsk direction.
They were apparently able to advance up the forest plantations in the low-lying ground. If they can advance down the adjacent treeline, they will be able to begin assault operations on Vovkove not only from the south, but also from the east.
Russian forces were also apparently able to capture two more residential streets in Pishchane.

The military junta in Burkina Faso has received delivery of at least 100 Chinese-manufactured armoured vehicles, including Norinco CS/VP14 MRAPs, Norinco VN22 6x6 wheeled armoured fighting vehicles, and Norinco CS/VN9 6x6 armoured personnel carriers.
They also reportedly received trucks and tankers manufactured by Shacman, which is a prominent Chinese vehicle manufacturer.
The Norinco CS/VP14 MRAP can withstand a 10-kg anti-tank mine under any wheel and can resist 7.62x51 mm gunfire from up to 30 metres. It has a total combat weight of 9 tonnes.
The Norinco VN22 has a heavily armoured hull that can resist 25 mm shells at the front and 14.5mm projectiles elsewhere. It can hold up to 9 infantrymen and is armed with a 30 mm automatic cannon and two Red Arrow 73D anti-tank missiles.
The Norinco CS/VN9 can withstand 12.7 mm bullets from 200 metres and can transport up to six paratroopers. It is also equipped with a 30 mm automatic cannon for self-defence.
These vehicles provide a comprehensive variety of capabilities including mine protection, fire support, anti-tank capabilities and of course troop transport, further indicating a shift towards a much more modern military for Burkina Faso since their military coup. It also suggests a warming of relations between Burkina Faso and China, which pre-coup, weren't as good.
