I can't imagine how difficult clearing one of those massive Soviet-era apartment blocks is when Ukraine actually has the manpower to put up resistance.

Lebanese outlets report that an Israeli drone pursued Lebanese Civil Defense personnel as they attempted to recover the bodies of dead in the town of Shamaa, forcing them to retreat. The site they were working at was then targeted with artillery shelling.

Israeli forces have captured the village of Durbul in southern Syria.
Clarification: a local reportedly in Khan Alsheh said that the Israelis aren't outside the town. I have expanded the grey zone to include the open area to the west.

Should I start reporting on general geopolitical news? For example, the French just withdrew their military from Chad, but I wasn't sure if I should make a post on it.

Threat of Ballistics from Crimea too
By the way, there were no launches from Crimea. Just a single Iskander-M Ballistic missile was launched at Zaporizhzhia city from the Taganrog area of Rostov Oblast.

Recently, tensions between the Palestinian authority (PA) security forces and different Palestinian resistance factions in the West Bank have been rising.
Following a series of Israeli ground operations into the city of Jenin in the northern part of the West Bank, targeting Palestinian fighters from the Al Quds brigades' Jenin battalion, and a drone strike which targeted a car carrying fighters, the Palestinian Authority's security forces have been cracking down on fighters resisting the regular Israeli raids.
In response, the following actions were taken:
- The Jenin Battalion declared mobilisation and called on others in the West bank to rise up against the PA.
- The Tulkarm camp battalion also released a statement condeming the PA.
- Palestinian fighters from the Al-Far'a camp, near Jenin took up arms and stated that they were mobilising to support the Jenin Battalion.
- Locals in Nablus began burning tires and conducting protests on Jerusalem Street in response to the PA's actions in Jenin.
Yesterday, a member of Hamas was shot during small arms clashes with PA forces. In response to this, Hamas called on the different factions and the Palestinian people to take part in a broad movement to "stop the behavior of the Authorityβs apparatuses in pursuing the resistance fighters and targeting citizens, and to put an end to these crimes that are consistent with the occupationβs [Israel's] crimes against our people and their sanctities."
Additionally, just a few hours ago, armed forces from the PA conducted an operation involving snipers, armoured jeeps and other military equipment in Jenin. The outcome and purpose of this operation remains unknown.
There is of course the possibility that this all fizzles out like it has done in the past, but this is the largest escalation in conflict between the PA and The West Bank's armed factions since I've started covering the situation in The Middle East.

Russian forces have reportedly continued to advance in Shevchenko (Southwest of Pokrovsk), and have captured all of the town, except for the northwestern houses.
Additionally, they reportedly linked up their two bridgeheads on the northern bank of the Solonyi river by advancing up the windbreaks on either side of the railway tracks and branching off onto the nearby treelines east of Shevchenko.

1 Tu-160 is redeploying east from Engels-2 airbase to Belaya airbase. This would leave just one Tu-160 at Engels-2, which might be under maintenance. However if an attack does occur, it is going to come from Olenya airbase in Murmansk Oblast, which is where Russia has been concentrating much of their strategic aircraft.
