Today was one of the deadliest days in recent months for casualties in Gaza, with at least 100 Palestinians reportedly killed across the strip.

It's been a quiet day in terms of missile attacks on Ukraine. No Russian missile launches have occurred for the past 22 hours.

The SNA claimed that their forces captured the village of Minaq, northwest of the city of Tall Rifat. This would also indicate that the village of Ayn Daqnah and possibly Kafr Khasher has fallen too.

I think it's likely that within the next 24 hours, Tall Rifat will fall under SNA control.

The SNA announced the capture of Tall Rifat from the SDF.

The SDF then took a deal with the SNA involving handing over all their remaining positions in the Aleppo Governorate, in return for free and unobstructed passage to the Raqqa governorate in northeastern Syria.

The HTS breakthrough southeast of Aleppo through SAA controlled territory was confirmed. The reports of this 50km+ advance first surfaced a day and a half ago, but weren’t confirmed and seemed ludicrous, so I didn’t report on it.

It appears that they are trying to reach the Euphrates river in order to cut off SDF and encircle them against the river. In response, the SDF has declared a general mobilisation.

Renewed airstrikes are reported in Aleppo.

It’s now been 37 hours since the last missile strike on Ukraine. This has to be some sort of record.

Geolocated footage indicates that Russian forces have marginally advanced in Sontsivka.

After a series of reported failed assault operations due to a Ukrainian tank being present, Russian forces were able to expand their zone of control in the northern part of the village to include about a dozen more houses.

This will allow the Russians to attack the remaining Ukrainian positions in the centre of the village from the west if necessary.

A recent report states that Russian forces advanced in the eastern part of the Kursk salient and established a foothold in the northern houses of Martynovka.

If true, this might have been a mechanised assault down the P-200 highway, where infantry dismounted and took up positions in the northern houses from the west. This would also put any remaining Ukrainian formations in the forest plantations to the east at a significant risk of encirclement.

Martynovka is one of the main Ukrainian strongholds in the eastern Kursk salient and is a part of a network of defensive nodes that holds up the buffer zone east of Sudzha.

Molotov cocktails were used in Georgia yesterday. This is looking more and more like Maidan 2.0, but let's hope it doesn't escalate to that level.

After capturing the Aleppo Industrial city, the SNA and HTS have laid siege to the remaining SDF fighters in north Aleppo.

I think these SDF fighters weren't included in the safe passage deal from Tall Rifat as the pocket had already been sliced in two by the time it was proposed.

In Kharkiv Oblast, A recent report states that Russian forces advanced east of Lozova, taking up positions in the forest plantations directly outside the village.

Unconfirmed reports of a new HTS offensive on Hama

A new report states that Russian forces advanced in Zabalka district of Toretsk and reached the Terykons.

These Terykons are the commanding heights in the area and are part of what allowed Ukraine to conduct their counterattacks in this district. If captured, they will allow for increased quality of fire control and surveillance of Ukrainian formations.

Russian forces have reportedly begun active assault operations on the Pivdennyi micro-district of Kurakhove, after likely taking it into a semi-encirclement.

A local Ukrainian channel reported that Russian troops were spotted in the area of School no.1 (marked in yellow) of Kurakhove. This would indicate another Russian advance in the city centre.

The SAA has launched a new counteroffensive in the eastern Aleppo Governorate, taking advantage of the lack of HTS fortifications and the fact that they were extremely over-extended.

The SAA was able to recapture the town of Khanasser, before advancing up the Tal Daman - Al Safirah highway, reaching Al Safirah, where battles are ongoing with HTS militants.
