The IDF is currently carrying out a large-scale counter-insurgency operation in the West Bank city of Hebron following the Palestinian armed attack on Israeli soldiers at a road junction near the city. The entire occupied West Bank is expected to be placed under a full lockdown in the near future.

All of Hebron and surrounding villages have been cordoned off, and searches are underway at the residences of the attackers and additional suspects.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that he has completed a situation assessment with high-ranking Israeli officials regarding today's Hebron attack, stating that he ordered the IDF and security forces to immediately impose a full lockdown across the West Bank. He also alluded to the possibility that the Palestinians who carried out the attack were affiliated with Hamas, stating that "We will pursue Hamas terrorists and their dispatchers everywhere and at all times. You have no safe haven." Earlier, Israeli media reported that one of the gunmen may have had ties with Hamas.

Neither Hamas nor the Palestinian Islamic Jihad have claimed responsibility for the Hebron shooting. Hamas issued a statement earlier saying that the perpetrators of the attack carried out the shooting as a "natural and planned response to ongoing Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people".

This comes as the IDF has been carrying out intensified raids across the occupied West Bank throughout the last week, reportedly arresting around 70 wanted individuals, including those allegedly affiliated with Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad. The IDF claims to have located dozens of weapons, including M16 rifles, Carlo submachine guns, and four IEDs during these earlier raids.

This prisoner of war exchange between Ukraine and Russia is reportedly scheduled to take place today.

The last PoW exchange took place in August.

Explosions in Kherson.

The city is under attack from Russian KAB glide-bombs launched by a Su-34. A second Su-34 is expected to launch more KABs towards the city in the coming minutes.

Russian Geran-4/5 jet-drones are currently attacking the "Northern" 330 kV electrical substation near the town of Novi Petrivtsi, Kyiv Oblast.

A total of 4 KAB glide-bombs were used. 3 were launched by the first Su-34, and 1 was launched by the 2nd aircraft.

Strong explosions could be heard in the city. The Su-34s have since flown away from their launch lines.

The target of the Ukrainian attack on Baltimore Airbase in Voronezh City was likely either Voronezh Military Aviation Engineering University or a nearby aircraft parking lot at the airbase.

Russian channels report that the attack was likely carried out with Neptune cruise missiles, rather than FP-5 "Flamingo" cruise missiles.
