Explosions in Chernihiv City.

Russian S8000 Banderol cruise missile attack.

Situation on the Dobropillya & Druzhkivka directions, Donetsk Oblast:

Over the last few weeks, both Russian and Ukrainian forces continued their assault operations, with Russian forces focusing primarily on deep infiltrations behind Ukrainian lines.

In the east, Russian forces deepened their zone of infiltration within the village of Raiske (southern one) and began infiltrating east through the fields towards the southwestern outskirts of Druzhkivka in smaller numbers. They also managed to infiltrate a couple new groups of 2-3 soldiers into the Staroraiske area, operating near the mine complex.

To the west, the Russians continued attacking Ukrainian positions in the Novomykolaivka area and began deeper infiltrations behind their lines. Several small groups of 2-3 DRGs infiltrated northwest to Andriivka, before panning out to the Novoyavlenka, Starovarvarivka, and Rohanske areas, putting Ukrainian drone operator and artillery positions at risk.

To the southwest, Ukrainian forces cleared some of the forested gullies south of Hruzke and Vesele from earlier Russian infiltrations, and continued infiltrating south towards the Kucheriv Yar area. Russian forces continued attacking towards Kucheriv Yar and are attempting to advance in the area of the clay mines. From here, Russian infiltrator and DRG groups began infiltrating northwest past Zolotyi Kolodyaz into the Petrivka, Blahodat, Vesela Hora, Novotroitske, and Lidyne areas, putting additional Ukrainian drone operator and artillery positions at risk.

Further southwest, fighting continues for the railway line southwest of Rubizhne, while sporadic Russian infiltrations continue to occur in the Bilozerske, Myrove, and Vesele Pole areas.

+ ~7.24 kmยฒ in favour of Ukraine.

Situation on the Dobropillya direction, Donetsk Oblast:

Over the last few weeks, Russian forces significantly intensified their offensive operations in the Dobropillya direction following a brief operational pause, and have entered the city from multiple directions.

In the northeast, Russian forces continued their infiltrations along both banks of the Byk River, entering the eastern part of Hannivka and the northeastern streets of Dobropillya north of the Terykon. Individual Russian assault groups have once again begun infiltrating southwest towards the city centre, attempting to take up positions along the railway line just east of the high-rise blocks. Russian DRGs continue to sporadically infiltrate the Bokove area and nearby treelines. Ukrainian forces are conducting clearing operations, and are attempting to infiltrate additional groups of soldiers into the forests east of Hannivka in order to cut off the Russian infiltration route into the city.

To the south, Russian forces intensified their infiltrations up the the eastern edge of Dobropillya, and managed to re-enter the territory of the mine, where heavy fighting is underway. Individual infiltration groups are attempting to move deeper towards the southern suburbs to cut off Ukrainian positions in the southeastern part of the city. Infiltrations are also being intensified along the railway line into the southeastern private sector of Dobropillya.

Further south, after establishing full control over the city of Bilytske, the Russians cleared the terykons northwest of Bilytske and the treelines to the north, and took up positions just east of the Bilytska Mine where heavy fighting continues. Further infiltrations into Chernihivika are also underway. Ukrainian forces are struggling to reinforce their strongpoints south of Dobropillya due to repeated Russian infiltrations into the city, which is allowing the Russians to advance further in this crucial area near Bilytske.

To the southwest, Russian forces cleared the former mine complex southwest of Bilytske and established a foothold in the southern and eastern parts of Svitle. Heavy fighting is now underway for the western streets of Svitle and the neighbouring town of Vodyanske.

To the west, the Russians cleared the strongpoints on the northern outskirts of Shevchenko and began infiltrating throughout Matyasheve and the fields east of Novohryshyne. In response, Ukraine withdrew their forces north of the river and carried out an airstrike on a dam in Shevchenko to flood the river downstream. Russian forces subsequently captured Matyasheve, the treelines to the west and southwest, and gained a foothold in the eastern part of Novohryshyne. Infiltrations are now being intensified further west along the southern bank of this river into the southern street of Novofedorivka.

From the direction of Matyasheve, Russian soldiers are moving north through the gap in the multi-layered defensive line into the village of Dobropillya, where they gained a foothold in the southern streets, and are panning out to the west, north, and northeast, capturing positions in the forest plantations directly south of Dobropillya city. From here, they are entering the southwestern industrial zone and adjacent high-rise buildings, where heavy fighting is ongoing with Ukrainian forces. More consistent infiltrations are taking place in the fields southwest of Dobropillya city, with DRGs now operating on the approaches to Raksha and in the southeastern part of Svyatohorivka. Simultaneously, Russian soldiers are launching assaults on Ukrainian positions north of the reservoir near Nadiia, as well as in the fields north of Krasnopodillya.

To the southwest, the Russians cleared a number of treelines north of Vasylivka and Myrne, and began expanding their zone of infiltrating further northwest, supporting operations in the Novofedorivka and Novohryshyne area. Additionally, after capturing the rest of Myrne, they are attempting to enter the neighbouring village of Hulive.

+ ~34.51 kmยฒ in favour of Russia.

Ansarallah released footage showing the interception of a Saudi AH-6i attack helicopter off the coast of Najran, Yemen.

The Saudi-led coalition had previously claimed that the helicopter went down due to a "mechanical failure". This footage disproves that claim.

Old footage will soon be very easy to spot.

Propaganda flag planting operations will be much more difficult to fake.

I agree with @Thorkill65's assessment that there are likely around 50 Russian soldiers in Dobropillya right now. At least a couple hundred Ukrainian soldiers are probably also present.

The bulk of them are concentrated in the southwestern and southeastern parts of the city, while a few other small groups are in the northeastern streets closer to Hannivka.

These large-scale infiltrations into Dobropillya means the Ukrainian strongpoints south of the city are at risk of being cut off, with supply into these areas already very difficult. There have also been a larger number of infiltrations into the fields southwest of Dobropillya, reaching the main highway resupplying Ukraine's garrison there. A large grey-zone has formed there, where Russian soldiers are attempting to accumulate to begin an encircling and absorbing maneuver on the city.

Furthermore, these infiltrations force Ukrainian drone operators out of their positions in Dobropillya, disrupting Ukraine's FPV drone strikes on Russian logistics and assault operations, allowing further Russian advances and deep infiltrations to be made.

Footage showing the impact of 8 Russian RM-48U modified S-400 ballistic missiles in eastern Kyiv.

These missiles were seemingly all targeting the same location (CHP-4 power plant). This video highlights how low their accuracy is, with the strikes being very spread out.

Only two of the missiles actually managed to hit the power plant, while the rest fell in the surrounding areas. Two of the impacts are only heard, and not visible in this clip.

Russian Su-34s are attacking the southern outskirts of Zaporizhzhia City with KAB glide-bombs.

At least 5 strikes have been carried out so far on the Balabyne-Kushuhum area, including two which were likely KAB-1500s (the other 3 were probably KAB-500s). Ukrainian air defence attempted to shoot down the remaining three but failed.

โ—๏ธInformation from the ground.

Russian DRG (sabotage and reconnaissance) groups have been reported in the villages of Kushuhum and Balabyne, right on the outskirts of Zaporizhzhia City.

They are equipped with AK-12 rifles and are fluent in Ukrainian, attempting to blend in with the civilian population and the military. There is a risk of repeated DRG infiltrations into this area. It is unknown how many are currently there, but their number is likely small.

Presumably, they moved up the near-unbroken chain of settlements from Prymorske to Malokaterynivka and Kushuhum, using the residential areas as cover from Ukrainian drones, while trying to avoid detection from soldiers operating in the area.

Alerts have already been sent out to Ukrainian units operating in this direction.

The Washington Post reports that Ukraine is down to their last couple of Patriot PAC-3 interceptor missiles. Ukraine reportedly had around 10 on October 7, and used most of these during the most recent Russian large-scale missile attack on Kyiv.
It seems this report by the Washington Post was correct.

Not a single Patriot interceptor missile was launched by Ukraine during tonight's Russian missile attack on Kyiv.

Russia continued their large-scale attacks on western Ukraine using Geran-4/5 jet-drones last night, primarily targeting Rivne Oblast.

Explosions were heard in the cities of Lutsk, Manevychi, and Kovel (Volyn Oblast); Dubno, Zdolbuniv and Rivne (Rivne Oblast); Mohyliv-Podil's'kyi (Vinnytsia Oblast); as well as Yarmolyntsi and Shepetivka (Khmelnytskyi Oblast).

Targets hit include the 330 kV electrical substation in the city of Kovel, an oil depot in the city of Shepetivka, and railway infrastructure elsewhere. However, the main target appears to have once again been Rivne, where large fires broke out following several strikes on the city.
