The Israeli Army has issued the following statement:

Under the directive of the political leadership, a ceasefire agreement in Lebanon came into effect this morning (Wednesday) at 04:00, and the IDF is operating accordingly. Israeli forces remain stationed in their positions in southern Lebanon.

In the last hour, IDF forces identified several vehicles within Lebanese territory carrying suspected individuals in a restricted movement zone. The forces opened fire to prevent their approach, prompting the suspects to retreat.
