The Russian Ministry of Defence claims that overnight Geran-2/4 drone strikes on Odesa Oblast targeted port infrastructure in the town of Vylkove allegedly being used to transfer military equipment from European countries, a road bridge in the town of Mayaky connecting Ukraine with Moldova and the southern part of Odesa Oblast, as well as another Nova Poshta warehouse.

They also claimed to have struck a dry cargo ship in the western Black Sea, allegedly being used to deliver military cargo to Ukraine.

Overnight, Ukrainian drones once again attacked Luhansk City, striking a target in the vicinity of the former Luhansk border guard detachment HQ.

The platoon led by Ismaeil Hassan was likely one of 3 platoons that are part of the elite Nukhba company subordinate to the Nuseirat Battalion, which is part of the Central Brigade of Hamas' military wing Al-Qassam Brigades. The battalions operating in the central Gaza Strip are the last partially combat capable units, which retain a significant amount of their pre-war strength compared to their neighbouring battalions due to a lack of IDF ground operations in this part of Gaza.

Additionally, the IDF claims to have killed a Hamas fighter in the city of Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, in a separate targeted assassination strike. They claim that both militants were involved in restoring Hamas' combat capabilities.

🔹Based on UA air-force numbers, 4 524 drones were downed this month, while Zelensky claims 1 500 Geran-4/5, 55% of this category.

➡️1 228 Geran-4/5 drones have not been intercepted, while the air forces claims only 913 of the total drones were not downed.
➡️This leaves us with 2 707 Geran-2/Gerbera drones, of which 90% at least are intercepted.

-> Thus, the total number of hits this month is closer to 1 500 than 913.
-> The interesting part is to look at the total interception rate : it's now close to 70% while it was earlier this year between 86% and 90%.

It's probably even higher than 1,500 impacts as Ukrainian officials have an incentive to lie about this.

The Ukrainian Air Force figures also don't include Russian drones used during the daytime hours (6am to 6pm), and they don't include drones such as Molniyas or Bm-35s, which can fly quite far behind the frontlines.

⚡️🇷🇴🇪🇸🇷🇺🇺🇦 Romania says an unidentified aerial target entered its national airspace near Chilia Veche on September 26, prompting an air alert in northern Tulcea County.

Two Spanish F-18 fighter jets and a Romanian IAR-330 SOCAT helicopter were launched to monitor the situation. According to radar data, the target flew for several minutes roughly parallel to the Chilia branch of the Danube before radar contact was lost near Pardina. The air alert ended at 12:48 a.m.
