Ukrainian mid-range drones continue to heavily strike energy and gas infrastructure across Russian-controlled Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kharkiv Oblasts; Crimea; and border regions of Russia.

Recent strikes over the last week targeted two 220 kV electrical substations, five 110 kV substations, and 17 other substations of unspecified sizes. Additionally, 10 different gas distribution stations and one gas compressor station were hit.

These recent Ukrainian mid-range drone strikes on energy infrastructure has revealed some of Russia's reconstruction progress in former frontline areas of Ukraine.

Interestingly, one of the substations hit was in the village of Hrakove, Kharkiv Oblast, which would indicate that at some point Russia restored electricity supply to parts of the small corner of Kharkiv Oblast it still controls and retained after the 2022 Ukrainian counteroffensive. To my knowledge, this is the first ever visually confirmed Ukrainian FP-2 mid-range drone strike on energy infrastructure in Russian-controlled Kharkiv Oblast.

Another substation in the village of Volodymyrivka, Luhansk Oblast, near the border with Kharkiv Oblast, was also hit. Volodymyrivka was directly on the frontline up until 2024, when Russian forces initiated offensive operations to reach the Oskil River south of Kupyansk. As of now, it is around 12.5 km from the frontline.

Additionally, the main substation supplying the city of Selydove, Donetsk Oblast, was hit. Selydove is the only city post-2022 that was captured without it being destroyed, and represents a small pocket of life in the flattened wastelands of Donbas due to its relatively short and not particularly intense battle. Considering that schools were re-opened in the city several months after its capture, it's not surprising that electricity has been restored as well.

One of the petrol stations struck in Kyiv this morning was largely destroyed.

Odesa Oblast once again came under attack this morning, with Russian Geran-4 jet-drones attacking an unknown target in the town of Dachne.

An oil depot in Poltava Oblast was attacked by Russian Geran-2/4 drones last night, resulting in a large fire breaking out.

A 7th Russian Geran-4 jet-drone strike has just occurred on Kyiv, reportedly targeting the Karavaevi Dachi Railway Station in western Kyiv.

Earlier, a Geran-4 struck the Darnytsia Railway Station in eastern Kyiv.

An 8th Russian Geran-4 jet-drone strike was just carried out on Kyiv, this time targeting something just north of the city centre.

Another Russian Geran-4 jet-drone has impacted, this time in the Sovky District of southwestern Kyiv.

This is the 9th strike since this morning.

Odesa is once again under attack from Russian Geran-4 jet-drones.

A strike was carried out near the Cherʹomushky District in the southern suburbs of Odesa. Smoke can be seen rising from the impact site.
