Yemen Civil War - Situation on the Marib Front:

Over the last 4 hours, Ansarallah has begun limited offensive operations in the area of Marib, attempting to capture positions around the city to lay the groundworks for a full-scale storming operation.

Ansarallah has been primarily focused on advancing north of Marib, where they were able to take control over Labinah & an Nuddar Mountains, as well as the Labinah Camp, before advancing further south and capturing a number of trenches and fortifications in the desert. With the main PLC defences north of the city breached, some fighters have managed to penetrate towards the northern outskirts, where they engaged in clashes and mutual shelling with PLC forces for around an hour. In the last 30 minutes, the situation has calmed slightly, and it remains unclear if they were able to consolidate control over the fortifications directly north of Marib.

Meanwhile, Ansarallah continued some limited attacks west of Marib, pushing east down both highways towards the western outskirts of the city. Despite the withdrawal of part of the PLC force from Marib to the eastern Hadramaut Governorate, Ansarallah has not yet been able to enter Marib from the west, although the fighting here remains limited and they have not fully committed their forces to advancing yet.

According to figures published by @CIT_shellings, citing Russian and Ukrainian regional official reports, at least 21 civilians were killed and 203 others injured as a result of Russian and Ukrainian attacks in the last 24 hours.

Russian strikes killed 11 civilians and injured 157 others.

Ukrainian strikes killed 10 civilians and injured 46 others.

Ansarallah is once again launching ballistic missiles/drones towards King Khalid Airbase, southwestern Saudi Arabia.

This is the second attack on the Airbase in the last 90 minutes.

Ansarallah ballistic missiles are also targeting King Fahd Airbase in western Saudi Arabia.

Yemen Civil War - Situation on the Marib Front:

In the last hour, Ansarallah intensified their attacks towards Marib from the south, where they are attempting to capture the PLC strongholds at the Central Balaq Mountain (15.3634, 45.28646) and near the village of Ar Rawdah (15.32275, 45.27776), pushing north along the highway. PLC forces are putting up fierce resistance, and heavy mutual artillery shelling continues.

West of Marib, Ansarallah appears to be focused on capturing Dushsh al-Haqn Mountain (15.51786, 45.18301), just south of the N-5 Highway, in order to begin pushing eastward towards the western outskirts of Marib.

Northwest of Marib, it was confirmed that PLC fighters retain control over their fortifications in and around the town of Asdas, where the situation currently remains stable.

Overall, the fighting remains limited, and Ansarallah has not yet launched a large-scale storming operation on the city yet. Marib remains under full PLC control for now.

Yemen Civil War - Situation on the Taizz Front:

Over the last 24 hours, Ansarallah (Houthis) continued their offensive southwest of the strategic city of Taizz, aimed at cutting the last PLC-controlled highway leading into the city.

After capturing the town of Al-Mazraq, Ansarallah forces continued their push eastwards down the highway towards the town of Al Qasfah At Tawil, capturing a number of small villages along the valley. This evening, Ansarallah managed to reach the western outskirts of Al Qasfah At Tawil, and captured Jirdad Mountain, around 12 km from the highway leading out of Taizz.

To the north, heavy fighting continues for areas west of the village of Al-Lahmudi, where Ansarallah forces remain around 5km from the highway. PLC forces are putting up fierce resistance to try prevent Ansarallah from cutting this last vital lifeline into Taizz.

Additionally, in the last 30 minutes, PLC fighter jets took from from airbases in Saudi Arabia to carry out airstrikes on Ansarallah positions and (reportedly) rocket launchers in the mountains north of Taizz. Ansarallah continued periodic artillery shelling of PLC positions in Taizz itself.
