On August 26, around a day before the Ukrainian drone attack, at least 3 Tu-160M and 1 Tu-95MS strategic bombers were visible at Engels-2 Airbase on Sentinel-2 satellite imagery. The Tu-95MS was seen on the runway, likely either returning from or startingโฆ
@Exilenova_plus released high-resolution satellite imagery of the Tu-95MS strategic bomber struck by a Ukrainian drone last night.
The aircraft was seen sitting on the same runway, likely either returning from or going to a training mission. It was situated around 80 metres from where I geolocated it on Sentinel-2 imagery dated August 26 (2 days prior).
As I mentioned in my previous post, this Tu-95MS is not currently used by Russia for launching Kh-101 cruise missiles at Ukraine, and instead is a trainer aircraft for young crews. It's likely that it replaced the previous trainer Tu-95MS which received critical damage from the Ukrainian drone strike on July 16. However, this time, the aircraft received only light damage to one wing, and will presumably be repaired to return to service.
Coordinates from Exilenova imagery: 51.473589, 46.202989

Correction: based on satellite imagery posted by @StrategicaviationT, this same Tu-95MS has been present in this area, being moved around, for over a year. Russia deployed it in this area on July 25, 2025 to try bait a Ukrainian drone attack, and has been moving it around day-by-day.
This would indicate that claims made by Fighterbomber about it not being used anymore and not having any engines are correct. It seems this aircraft was not used for training young crews as I initially reported.

If a ballistic missile attack on Kyiv does indeed take place tonight, launches will occur anywhere from 1 hour to 5 hours from now.
The period of an increased ballistic threat to Kyiv City and Kyiv Oblast starts now, and will continue for another 4 hours.

Ukrainian airstrikes continue to pound Russian troop accumulations in Kostyantynivka that Deepstate continues to claim are "grey-zones".

@AudaxonX posted his "D-day" geolocations in Kostyantynivka for Russian mappers, showing Russian and Ukrainian presences.
The geolocations he published line up fairly well with my map, although with some outliers. The bulk of the geolocations of Russian positions are within the Russian-controlled zone, with a couple in the grey-zone. Most of the geolocations of Ukrainian positions are in the grey-zone or Russian-controlled territory, however all of the ones within Russian-controlled territory are within my larger "infiltration zone".
I've said since the initial false claims by the Russian MoD about its capture that parts of the city remain contested, and also mentioned how the presence of isolated Ukrainian groups behind the lines does not necessarily mean those parts are contested. For the last several weeks, the bulk of the fighting has been concentrated in the northwestern parts of the city, Osykove, and the surrounding fields, which is a large grey-zone.
It's also important to mention that the Ukrainian command is constantly sending small groups of Ukrainian soldiers in 2s and 3s to the city to delay it's full capture by Russian forces, and to achieve propaganda victories in the information space. Furthermore, the dates of these geolocations are unknown as of now. But if I can confirm some of these Ukrainian geolocations in Russian-controlled territory are new, I will adjust the grey-zone on my map accordingly.

Here's the same map of geolocations with Deepstate's frontlines overlapped.
Notably, a large number of the geolocations of strikes on Russian positions in grey-zone (and even Ukrainian controlled) areas are of Ukrainian airstrikes, which would typically confirm Russian consolidation.

The U.S. Embassy in Kyiv has issued a new travel warning for U.S. citizens, urging them not to travel to Ukraine due to Russian attacks.
This comes as Russia has been carrying out near-constant Geran-4 jet-drone strikes on Kyiv Oblast for over 2 days, and will likely launch a large ballistic missile attack in the near future.

these jet drones are really the biggest destruction causers in Ukraine rn possibly
I'd say they have caused more damage than any other weapon system being used beyond the frontline for the last month.
