Ukrainian journalist Yuliya Kyriyenko reports that personnel from the 425th Assault Regiment "Skala" have begun being transferred to other units, as a part of reforms carried out by the new Ukrainian Commander-in-Chief Mykhailo Drapatyi.
"Skala" was previously part of the former so-called Syrskyi's personal army, which reported directly to him, was rapidly deployed to plug gaps in critical areas, and had a total priority for manpower allocation. This led to significant understaffing in other units, further exacerbating Ukraine's already-critical manpower shortages. T
he unit has also found itself in countless controversies surrounding abuse of personnel, suicide assaults, and fake/misleading reports to the higher command. Despite being regiment-sized unit on paper, "Skala" was estimated to have up to 13,000 soldiers, including battalions from other brigades transferred and subordinated to it.
Yuliya Kyriyenko states that over 2,000 soldiers have been transferred to other brigades and regiments to help alleviate this manpower crisis. Additionally, amid heavy inspections and investigations at various Skala battalions, Skala is reportedly no longer listed under the Rapid Response Forces, although it is not currently clear if this indicates the unit will be disbanded.

One year ago today, Russia made their rapid 15 km breakthrough in the Dobropillya direction, in what was an unprecedented maneuver.
While Ukraine eventually managed to mostly recapture this area, significant resources were expended in the counterattacks, which allowed Russia to advance on other parts of the frontline. At the same time, the overal integrity of Ukrainian defences near Dobropillya was never fully restored.

Tonight, Ukraine made another attempt at attacking Russia with FP-5 "Flamingo" cruise missiles, however, once again, they were all shot down by Russian air defence. Ukraine launched at least 5 Flamingo cruise missiles from Sumy/Chernihiv Oblast, which wereโฆ
During the last 10 FP-5 Flamingo cruise missile attacks (since July 1), Ukraine launched approximately 60 missiles towards Russia. Of these, only 2 impacted, while the rest were shot down by Russian air defence and aviation.
That would give us an estimated interception rate of 96.7%.
For comparison, I estimated the interception rate by Ukrainian air defence of Russia's current worst-performing cruise missile (the Kalibr) since May 24 at ~57% (~26 out of 46 total).
The approximate Kh-101 cruise missile interception rate since May 24 by Ukrainian air defence is ~36% (~60 out of ~165 total).

There is a threat of a repeated Russian ballistic missile attack on Kyiv for the next several days.
During last night's attack, only 8 out of ~30 accumulated Iskander-M ballistic missiles were used. Additionally, they did not use any Zircon hypersonic cruise missiles. This means that Russia still has enough missiles concentrated in Bryansk, Kursk, and Rostov Oblasts to carry out another large-scale attack.
More information will become available in the coming days. It's possible that Russia intends to use these missiles in conjunction with the next attack involving Tu-95MS and Tu-160M strategic bombers, which are actively being equipped with Kh-101 cruise missiles at Engels-2 and Ukrainka Airbases.

The Ukrainian Air Force released their claimed figures for how many glide-bomb strikes they carried out on Russian positions during July.
According to them, approximately 300 sorties were carried out by the Ukrainian Air Force - an average of 9.7 per day. Because this is an official report, this is the maximum number possible. The true number will likely actually be lower as they have an incentive to lie.
In comparison, Russia launched over 8,300 glide-bombs in July, with an average of ~268 per day (as per the Ukrainian General Staff). The true number is likely slightly higher as this is also an official claim with an incentive to lie.
If we were to make a rough estimate of 2 glide-bombs per Ukrainian sortie, then it would give us an airstrike ratio of around 14:1 in favour of Russia. This has a large margin of error due to Ukraine's incentive to lie, and because Ukraine's numbers include sorties while Russia's include individual munitions.

The Ukrainian Air Force confirmed that none of the Russian Iskander-M ballistic missiles were shot down last night, due to Ukraine having completely run out of Patriot interceptor missiles.
However, they purposefully underreported the total number of missiles launched, claiming there were only 6 (there were actually 8), in order to create the illusion of less impacts.
They also falsely claimed that "several missiles did not reach their targets", despite there being visual confirmation of 8 impacts at the "Asphalt concrete plant" in southern Kyiv.
