What looks like 2 Flamingo missile interceptions over Rostov

More missiles are flying southeast over Donetsk Oblast to Rostov.

No impacts in Rostov so far. 2/2 missiles shot down.

The next missiles will reach the city in the next several minutes.

2 other missiles (from the first wave) were shot down over Donetsk Oblast.

The remaining 2-4 Ukrainian FP-5 Flamingo cruise missiles were shot down over Donetsk/Rostov Oblast.

Ukraine attempted to attack the city of Rostov-on-Don with up to 8 FP-5 Flamingo cruise missiles.

However, all of the missiles were shot down. They flew through Donetsk and Rostov Oblasts - regions with a much higher density of Russian air defence systems compared to areas further east.

Out of the last five Flamingo missile attacks, three resulted in every single missile being intercepted, while two (both on the Avitek military plant in Kirov) saw one impact each.

Russia has clearly adapted their approach to countering Flamingo cruise missiles, achieving a much higher interception rate compared to the initial attacks earlier this year.
