For as long as the Iran war remains at its current low-intensity, I will reduce my coverage of the situation in the Middle East to a minimum, in order to shift my focus mostly to Ukraine.
What that means is that most of my Middle East coverage will come in the form of summary-style posts either during or after any attacks. Any live coverage will involve more sporadic posts, rather than minute-by-minute updates.
The total numbers of posts I make in general (Middle East + Ukraine) wonโt necessarily decrease, but you will see more posts on Ukraine than before. Because Iโm the only one running this account, and because I have a job and other responsibilities outside of this, I unfortunately cannot report every single event that happens. And because Iโm still demonetized by Twitter, I canโt really expand my coverage any further. I also think that this change will make it more convenient for the reader, so they donโt have to scroll through hundreds of posts to get an idea of what has happened.
Additionally, I hope to return to a more consistent schedule of releasing Ukraine map updates - hopefully on a weekly basis at a minimum. I plan to place more focus on this, because my more diversified coverage, along with how much more difficult it is to verify frontline changes and the extent of said changes nowadays, has resulted in much larger delays with updates. I try to counteract this with my more timely announcements on settlements changing hands, but I understand this isnโt really enough to get a clear idea. These delays have also created the illusion that Iโm โignoringโ or delaying making updates against whichever side is making the most progress, which is not the case.

Ukrainian GUR mid-range drones struck a Russian S-400 surface-to-air missile launcher, and a 96L6 radar reportedly belonging to the complex, in Crimea.
From the video footage, it is unclear if the radar was directly hit, but at the very least it was heavily damaged. The S-400 launcher suffered a direct impact.

โก๏ธ๐ธ๐ฆ๐พ๐ช Satellite imagery captured on 26 July shows a major fire continuing to burn at Saudi Aramcoโs Jazan Oil Refinery, with thick black smoke still rising from a large oil storage tank.
The imagery indicates the blaze remained active following the recent Houthi attack on the facility.
