Situation on the Velykyi Burluk direction, Kharkiv Oblast:

Russian forces intensified their assault operations in recent weeks, making new progress near Odradne amid continued difficulties closer to Kolodyazne.

In the north, Russian forces resumed their assault operations near Odradne following earlier Ukrainian counterattacks, recapturing positions in the treelines and forest plantations northwest and north of the village. Infiltrations are now being carried out into Odradne and the fields to the southeast.

In the south, the Russians resumed assault operations towards Kolodyazne from the east, along at least two attack vectors. They are also attacking Ukrainian positions east of Petro-Ivanivka, and are attempting to enter the village. No confirmed advances were made in either of these areas.

Situation on the Bilyi Kolodyaz direction, Kharkiv Oblast:

Over the last month, both Russian and Ukrainian forces have advanced, each focusing on different parts of this sector.

In the east, Russian forces marginally advanced in the eastern part of Budarky. Ukrainian forces recaptured positions in the southern part of Okhrimivka and are working to clear the rest of the grey-zone.

To the west, the Russians consolidated in Bochkove after weeks of fighting and captured positions to the east. They were also able to clear most of Chaikivka and Volokhivka south of the Vovcha River, and captured the southern part of Karaichne. Fighting continues for the rest of Volokhivka and Karaichne and the forests west of Bochkove. Ukrainian forces are operationally encircled in both of these locations and lack any ground logistics. Russian forces also managed to advance in the forests northeast of Zybyne and continued infiltrations into the village from the north. Russian assualt operations continued through the fields south of Pokolyane.

Further west, Ukrainian forces recaptured a series of poorly-consolidated Russian positions southeast of Vovchansk, while Russian forces resumed infiltrations south into the northern streets of Vilcha. Ukrainian forces also managed to clear the Tsehelne Industrial Zone and are infiltrating Synelnykove, which is now entirely in the grey-zone.

To the southwest, Ukrainian forces cleared the village of Verkhnya Pysarivka and the nearby forests from earlier Russian infiltrations. Other assault groups expanded their foothold east of the Vovcha River, completely recapturing Hrafske and positions in the nearby forests, and are now infiltrating Symynivka from the west and southwest. Russian forces continued their deep infiltrations into Shestarivka and the northern approaches to Losivka. Meanwhile, west of the Vovcha River, the Ukrainians recaptured most of the rest of Starytsya and crossed the Vovcha River, gaining a foothold west of Prypika, which they are now infiltrating from the west.

Situation on the Kozacha Lopan direction, Kharkiv Oblast:

Over the last few weeks, Russian forces carried out a series of cross-border assault operations, allowing them to enter the town of Kozacha Lopan.

Following extensive artillery and MLRS bombardment, Russian forces captured a Ukrainian-held strongpoint east of the international border in Belgorod Oblast, and went on to gain a foothold along the railway line west of the border on the eastern outskirts of Hraniv. Other assault groups crossed the border north of the Lopan River, capturing a series of positions in the forest plantations there, before entering and capturing the village of Shevchenka.

This then allowed the advance of assault groups south of the Lopan River to take place. They captured the rest of the border village of Hraniv and entrenched in the dachas along the reservoirs to the south, before advancing southwest along the railway line and entrenching in the dachas on the outskirts of Kozacha Kopan. Infiltrations into the northernmost streets of the town down both banks of the Lopan River are now underway, however all attempts at consolidating there have failed so far.

Situation on the Krasnopillya direction, Sumy Oblast:

Over the last couple of weeks, Russian forces continued their assault operations in multiple parts of the Krasnopillya direction, making new advances.

In the south, Russian forces captured the forests east of Ryasne, before securing the eastern and southeastern parts of the village. Fighting continues for the western part of Ryasne. Other assault groups are now infiltrating west through the northern outskirts of the village.

To the north, the Russians improved their positions along the railway line on the tactical heights and are infiltrating further west in coordination with assault operations southwest from Taratutyne towards Lisne. Additionally, Russian forces resumed assault operations west of Pokrovka and are trying to enter the eastern outskirts of Mykhailivka.

Situation on the Khotin direction, Sumy Oblast:

Over the last couple of weeks, Russian forces intensified their assault operations, making new progress in the area of the large forests north of Sumy.

In the west, Russian forces gained a foothold in the northeastern part of Korchakivka and improved their positions in the forest to the east, where they are now trying to reach the northern outskirts of Nova Sich and enter the large forest to the north. Other assault groups deepened their infiltrations to the south, moving through the forests to the northern outskirts of Ivolzhanske and the western outskirts of Nova Sich. Additionally, Russian forces are infiltrating along the road west of Mala Korchakivka towards the eastern outskirts of Pysarivka.

In the east, the Russians resumed their assault operations towards the village of Sadky, which they are infiltrating towards along several attack vectors through the forests to the north.

Situation on the Hlukhiv direction, Sumy Oblast:

Over the last few weeks, Russian forces intensified their assault operations towards Hlukhiv and have advanced in three different areas.

In the south, Russian forces advanced north of the large forests north of the international border, capturing a series of treeline positions southeast of Ulanove. Infiltrations are taking place further north in an attempt at cutting off Ukrainian positions west of Chervona Zorya. Russian forces also advanced in the forest plantations southwest of Chervona Zorya and are conducting assault operations west of Bobylivka.

In the north, the Russians improved their positions in the treelines west of Sopych, while other forces infiltrate down the highway from the border checkpoint into the eastern part of Bachivsk. Additionally, Russian forces crossed the international border at a new point north of the border checkpoint, capturing positions in a treeline and nearby forest west of the border.

Russian operator-controlled Geran-2 drones destroyed a Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter jet at Voznesensk Airbase, Mykolaiv Oblast. A second aircraft stationed in a hangar was likely damaged.

In addition to the Ukrainian loss of a MiG-29 at Voznesensk Airbase, a Russian Su-35 in western Belgorod Oblast was able to shoot down a Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter jet near the town of Velyka Bahachka, Poltava Oblast, with an R-37 air-to-air missile.

The interception was carried out at a range of up to 190 km. This was the missile flying to Poltava Oblast that I reported on yesterday. The Pilot was reportedly able to eject and survived.

A bad day for Ukrainian aviation...

2 confirmed MiG-29s destroyed, 1 likely damaged.

The Russian Ministry of Defence claims that Russian forces captured the village of Novoskelyuvate, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

Anyone who pays close attention to this war and the track record the the Vostok Group of Forces, will know that this claim is completely false.

Like with Dobropasove over a month ago, 2 Russian soldiers equipped with a flag managed to infiltrate through Ukrainian-held territory into the village, likely under the cover of poor weather conditions. They raised a flag and then retreated. It is unknown if they survived or not. This infiltration took place around 10-12 days ago.

This is to create the illusion of continued Russian advances in this direction, which stalled in recent months. Novoskelyuvate is approximately 14 km from the nearest stable Russian positions. Russia has since resumed their bombing of the village with KAB glide-bombs, which is visible on the most recent release of Sentinel-2 satellite imagery.

For those who don't believe me, ask yourself this: Why haven't we seen any signs of Russian presence in Dobropasove for over a month, with the only videos appearing being those initial flag waivers?

I can guarantee you all that there will be no further signs of Russian presence in Novoskelyuvate for another month either.

A few hours ago, 2 Russian Kh-59/69 cruise missiles launched by a Su-34 over the western Black Sea targeted something near Zatoka, Odesa Oblast - possibly the Zatoka Bridge.

A Ukrainian MiG-29 tried to shoot down the missiles. 2 (likely IRIS-T) surface-to-air missiles were launched from near Chornomorsk to try shoot down the missiles as well.

Explosions were heard near Zatoka, however it is unclear if this was from impacts of successful interceptions.

One of the 2 Ukrainian military transport aircraft that flew to a NATO base a few days ago returned to an (unspecified) airbase in western Ukraine yesterday, where it unloaded military supplies.

Russian Geran-2 drones struck the "Konotop-330" 330 kV electrical substation near the city of Konotop, Sumy Oblast (51.192577, 33.166395), and a radio communications tower near the city of Novhorod Siverskyi (52.024347, 33.251190).
