Amid the continued Ukrainian counterattacks north of Lyman, Ukrainian forces are conducting clearing operations in Lyman itself, against Russian infiltrators.

As a result of the last week of fighting, Ukrainian forces cleared most of the western suburbs, parts of the eastern and southeastern suburbs, and parts of the city centre.

Russian forces remain present in parts of the city centre, near Lyman Lake, as well as in the northern, eastern, and southern parts of the city.

Russia never consolidated in any of these areas, and was only conducting infiltrations.

The target was likely the Kremenchuk Oil Refinery.
