⚡🇷🇺🇺🇦 Satellite imagery shows that three Tu-142 landed over the course of May to the Yuzhny airbase. The facility is specialized in the repair of large aircrafts such as Tu-95, A-50, IL-76 and their variants.

Two Tu-142s sustained direct hits from FP-2 (which has a warhead large enough to destroy them). One of the aircrafts could be seen burning confirming its destruction.

The destroyed (confirmed) Tu-142 is a Tu-142MR variant whose mission is to communicate with submerged submarines of the Russian Navy. They play a key role in Russia's nuclear detterence.

The drone footage also shows two IL-76 type aircrafts, these were not targeted as they were previously destroyed in November 2025. The A-60 was an airborne laser testbed, the A-100LL was a prototype for the A-100 AWACS program.
