The number of settlements in Zaporizhzhia Oblast falsely claimed by the Russian Ministry of Defence to be under Russian control has reached 29.
Yellow icons represent settlements that are contested, while blue icons represent settlements that are under full Ukrainian control. 15 of these settlements are contested, while the other 14 are under Ukrainian control.
Notably, the area shown in red has zero false claims made. This is the area where Russian forces are achieving the most advances. Nevertheless, the entire eastern part of Zaporizhzhia Oblast remains one of the most difficult parts of the frontline.

The eastern part of Zaporizhzhia Oblast is one of the most striking examples of the recent "death of the conventional frontline" in Ukraine.
A large zone of infiltration - up to 15 km wide in some places - is shrouded over this sector. In this area, both Ukrainian and Russian soldiers hold mixed and overlapping positions and strongpoints, often even encircling each other. Due to the high density of drones in the sky, most movements must be carried out in small groups of soldiers - or "infiltrators".
Often, when one side carries out a deep infiltration, the other may choose to ignore it, as attacking it with ground forces risks drawing fire on yourself. And in this war, being spotted from above is the worst thing that can happen, and is effectively a death sentence if you don't manage to withdraw or hide in a strong concrete bunker.
These tactics employed by both sides and the exceptionally high usage of drones results in "frontlines" like this, where the "line" has turned into a zone. Ukrainian and Russian forces then have their own "tendrils" sticking out into this zone, which they either use to try to advance, or block the other sides' attempts to advance.

Google Earth updated its satellite imagery of the southern Gaza Strip, revealing the scale of devastation as a result of the Israeli invasion, genocide, and ethnic cleansing.
All of Rafah City and most of Khan Younis has been flattened. Also visible in the new images is the massive tent cities housing displaced Palestinians.
I'll post closer-up images below โฌ๏ธ

โก๏ธ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฑ๐ง N12: The IDF has reportedly decided to reduce its operational forces in southern Lebanon to the minimum level required to protect troops from drone threats and daily attacks.
The Israeli military is demanding a decision from the political leadership either to reach an agreement in Lebanon or grant the army broader freedom of military action.
Israeli officials believe the current situation, in which operational restrictions remain in place, โcannot continue.โ

A decrease in the concentration of manpower at the immediate line of contact is exactly what has happened in Ukraine, due to the high density of FPV drones.

Reuters back with their incredibly biased headlines.
When Russia kills civilians, they are blamed as the cause in the headline, and the casualty counts are mentioned.
When Ukraine kills civilians, it's "Putin accuses Ukraine of" the attack, the casualty count isn't mentioned, and it goes on to change the topic to potential Russian retaliation.
Hot take: both sides commit war crimes, and both should be represented equally in headlines.

Ukraine has launched a series of coordinated counterattacks in the Lyman direction.
Azov is taking part in these attacks, whcih are taking place across at least four assault vectors: From Ridkodub in the direction of Nove/Katerynivka, from Korovii Yar in the direction of Serednje, from Drobysheve in the direction of Shandryholove, and from Ozerne in the direction of Lyman.
So far, at least 8 Ukrainian armoured vehicles have been hit by Russian FPV drones. Limited advances have been confirmed in Ridkodub, however its too early to determine how much success Ukraine has achieved elsewhere.
As of now, the quantity of assault forces involved is not large enough for this to be considered a "counteroffensive", but rather a coordinated series of counterattacks - at least for the time being. I will post more information about this in the near future when the situation becomes clearer.

Kobani under Damascusโs control. ๐ธ๐พ
On May 17, the SDF/YPG transferred administrative control of the city to the Syrian Transitional Government as part of the integration agreement reached in late January. This followed weeks of joint deployment by security forces from the Ministry of the Interior and the Asayish.
Kobani District Director Ibrahim Muslim began carrying out his duties from within the city for the first time, operating from the headquarters designated for the district administration.
Both sides discussed mechanisms for managing civilian affairs and ways to ensure the success of the administrative and security integration process, to strengthen stability and improve administrative and service operations in the city and surrounding countryside.
For the first time since 2012, Kobani is under the direct control of the Damascus authorities.
