There is some activity on Russian strategic aviation frequencies, however this is probably linked to redeployments to the far east, or training missions in the far east.

The threat of strategic aviation being used tonight remains low, but I will keep an eye on it nevertheless, in the context of these ballistic missile attacks.

These were Banderol jet drones, not Iskander-K cruise missiles. They have since disappeared.

Iskander-M on Dnipro
Over the last 20 hours, another large-scale, combined Russian missile and drone attack was carried out on Ukraine.

Missiles launched:

~8 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles launched from OTRK installations near Taganrog, Rostov Oblast.

~6 Iskander-K cruise missiles launched from eastern Crimea.

~4 Iskander-K cruise missiles launched from near Millerovo, Rostov Oblast.

~4 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles launched from OTRK installations near Dzhankoi, Crimea.

~3 Kh-59/69 cruise missiles launched from a Su-34 east of Polohy, Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

~2 Kh-59/69 cruise missiles launched from a Su-34 in the western Black Sea

~2 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles launched from OTRK installations near Yeysk, Krasnodar Krai.

~1 Kh-59/69 cruise missiles launched from a Su-35 near Melitopol, Crimea.

-----------------------
Total missiles launched:

~14 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles.
~10 Iskander-K cruise missiles.
~6 Kh-59/69 cruise missiles.

~30 missiles in total.

-----------------------
Ukrainian air defence work:

As of the time of writing, it appears that Ukrainian air defence was able to intercept at least 1 Kh-59/69 cruise missile and 1 Iskander-K cruise missile.

-----------------------
The main targets for this strike was defence industries in Dnipro. The following was targeted:

- Pivdenmash Machine-Building Plant in Dnipro (48.43644, 34.98803) by ~8 Iskander-Ms, 5 Iskander-Ks, and ~3 Kh-59/69s.

- Multiple industrial facilities in northeastern Dnipro by ~5 Iskander-Ms (including ones with cluster munitions).

- Unknown target near Bessarabske, Odesa Oblast by ~2 Kh-59/69s

- Unknown target northeast of Dobropillya, Donetsk Oblast, by ~1 Iskander-M.

-----------------------

In addition to these missiles, at least 524 Geran-2/Gerbera drones and 4 Banderol jet-drones were used.

-----------------------

Keep in mind, the numbers of missiles launched may be slightly higher than what I've listed, as the number of missiles detected is sometimes lower than actual launches.

Today, Russian Chief of Staff Valery Gerasimov made some of the most ridiculous claims I've ever seen in this war. According to him, 85% of Lyman is under Russian control, and Russian forces have captured all of Borova, half of Shyikivka, and are fightingโ€ฆ
Russian sources posted a video claiming to show the capture of Borova in Kharkiv Oblast following Gerasimov's claims last week.

In reality, the video was filmed in the village of Kolomyichykha, Luhansk Oblast, over 9 km from the frontline and 25 km from Borova.

That's not something an army who supposedly captured Borova would do...

Ukrainian FP-2 drones have begun firing unguided air-to-surface rockets at Russian targets in the deep rear. The first video shows strikes on a Russian Black Sea Fleet communication hub.

Each drone can reportedly carry up to 8 rockets.

Ukrainian sources report that Russia is making significant progress in developing and implementing mesh systems on their FPV drones, creating an aerial network of repeaters and transmitters which allows them to fly substantially increased distances of up to 80 km from the frontline, primarily targeting rear Ukrainian logistics.

Some drones, such as Molniya and Lancet drones, are already flying up to 150 km from the frontline, striking areas not yet covered by anti-drone nets. An increase of these long-range strikes on Ukrainian rear logistics is being especially noted in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
