Footage released by the Russian MOD of yesterday's Tu-22m3 training mission over the Baltic Sea confirms that both strategic bombers that took part were each equipped with one Kh-22 cruise missile in the weapons bay.
Tu-22m3s can carry a maximum of 3 Kh-22/32 cruise missiles - one under each wing and a third in the weapons bay. These aircraft (which are currently stationed back at Soltsy-2 Airbase in Novgorod Oblast) are equipped with the older, less accurate Kh-22 cruise missile.
It is possible that these missiles will be used in the next large-scale combined missile and drone attack on Ukraine.

There is an increased threat of a large-scale combined Russian missile and drone attack on Ukraine for the next 48 hours.
If this attack does take place, it will not involve Tu-95MS or Tu-160M strategic bombers. However, it may involve Tu-22m3 strategic bomber as at least two Tu-22m3s are equipped with one Kh-22 cruise missile each at Soltsy-2 Airbase, Novgorod Oblast.
The main missiles involved would likely be Iskander-M ballistic missiles and Kalibr cruise missiles, as well as possibly Kh-59/69 cruise missiles and Iskander-K cruise missiles.
If this attack does not take place, the next combined missile attack (which in theory would occur any day from Saturday onwards) will probably involve Tu-95MS and Tu-160M strategic bombers as well as the aforementioned other missiles.
