Hezbollah is shelling the city of Kiryat Shmona, northern Israel, with rockets.

The Kremlin announced that a 32-hour Easter truce will take place from 4pm on Sunday April 11 to 11:59pm on Monday April 12, where Russian forces will cease all hostilities.

They stated that they will be prepared to counter any Ukrainian threats, but called on the Ukrainian side to follow suit.

Hezbollah attacked northern Israel with several long range rockets.

Out of 4 rockets launched to Haifa, 1 was intercepted by the iron dome while the rest impacted. Israeli media claim the impacts occurred in open areas.

A Scud tactical ballistic missile was launched from the Bekaa Valley of eastern Lebanon to central Israel, but failed in flight and sirens were not activated.

Additionally, a salvo of rockets was launched towards the city of Nahariyya.

Zelensky expressed that Ukraine intends follow the Easter truce, claiming that Ukraine proposed the truce, not Russia.

Yesterday, another exchange of dead soldiers took place between Russia and Ukraine.

41 Russian bodies were exchanged for 1,000 Ukrainian bodies.

The IDF released footage showing an airstrike on a Hezbollah rocket launcher reportedly used to attack northern Israel earlier today. Secondary detonations of ammunition are visible in the video.

They claimed that they struck a total of 10 Hezbollah rocket launchers involved in the shelling over the last few hours, and that airstrikes against additional launchers are still ongoing.

The sirens in Tel Aviv were triggered because of the threat of falling Debris after the interception. The missile was aimed at northern Ashdod.

Russia does not intend to take Druzhkivka or Kostyantynivka by the end of April.

Today (April 9), Hezbollah published a total of 72 statements regarding recent operations targeting Israel and the IDF in Israel and southern Lebanon, down 87 on April 7. No statements were published on April 8 due to Hezbollah's brief cessation of fire following the ceasefire with Iran.

This brings their total stated operations since the beginning of the war to 1,535, with an average of 42.29 per day since March 2.

Ukrainian drone-dropped grenades targeted valuable Russian air defence assets in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, including:

- An S-300V surface-to-air missile launcher and radar
- A 9C32 radar system for the S-300V air defence system.
- A "Palantin" electronic warfare system.

All local administrative officials and workers have evacuated the city of Mykolaivka, Donetsk Oblast, due to the deteriorating security situation and the approaching frontline. Mykolaivka is approximately 5.6 km from the frontline.

The city, which is currently under a mandatory evacuation order for all families with children, is steadily emptying out of people, who are moving to safer areas. The city is bombed daily by KABs, MLRS and artillery, while Russian FPV drones are almost constantly operating over it.

Not long ago, the Slovyansk Thermal Power Plant ceased all operations, which supplies power to Mykolaivka and other parts of Ukrainian-controlled Donetsk Oblast. Due to damage to power lines, Mykolaivka is currently without power. Repair works are being impeded due to constant Russian FPV drone activity.
